Chapter 19 - Bloody Plan (3)

Mu Zi firmly believed that the boss deeply loved his wife. His hatred for her was entirely due to that profound love.

Thus, he successfully redirected his hatred towards the man with the glasses.

Mu Zi also firmly believed that the boss's wife wasn't a frivolous and greedy person. Her affair must have hidden reasons.

So, his plan took shape: the first step was to shift the boss's decision from killing his wife to killing the man with glasses. By eliminating the man with glasses, regardless of why the boss's wife had the affair, she would have no choice but to return to the boss. Once the man with glasses died, the boss's psychological balance would be restored, and with no more secrets, the wife would confess everything, leading the boss to forgive and accept her. They could then continue their undisturbed happy life.

Therefore, by ensuring the death of the man with glasses, regardless of the cost, the boss would not hesitate to pay... Mu Zi was betting on his love for his wife, and indeed, he won the bet.

Regarding the fee, he negotiated a price of two hundred thousand with the boss, who agreed without hesitation. For a person like him, money was no longer important.

Mu Zi didn't see this as extorting the boss, because he knew the money the boss's wife took from the boss was spent on the man with glasses. Once the man died, that money would return. So, he felt justified taking this money...

In the early morning, the sky began to lighten, and the air was free of exhaust fumes. Mu Zi walked briskly on the street, feeling invigorated.

"I am Jia, an assassin. Not a very cold one, though."

Despite almost no sleep last night, Mu Zi felt unusually energetic. "Jia," a name he made up during negotiations with the boss, sounded like "fake" in Chinese...

He had three days to stealthily dispatch the man with glasses to the afterlife, secure the two hundred thousand, and deliver it to Yezi.

The timeline was tight, and he didn't even know the man's name yet.

First, he needed to understand the man's daily routine and then plan a perfect, fatal "accident"...

As the streets became busier, no one paid attention to Mu Zi. He stopped at a breakfast stall for some youtiao (fried dough sticks) and soy milk, then continued towards Mingdu Business Hotel, thinking smugly, "I must be the most blatant assassin ever..."

Mingdu Business Hotel was a six-story building surrounded by a green bamboo fence, topped with a red wall skirt, looking rather striking. The electric gate in front and the lobby doors were diagonally opposite each other, with a parking lot of about two hundred square meters in between.

Circling the building, Mu Zi noticed that aside from the large parking lot in front, there were narrow pathways on either side, probably for staff. The back had another door leading to yellow single-story buildings housing the kitchen, warehouse, toilets, and staff dormitories.

Early in the morning, the parking lot was sparsely filled. Mu Zi loitered among the cars, watching the gate.

After about twenty minutes, accompanied by a roaring motorcycle, the man with glasses appeared on a flashy silver Harley, without a helmet, making him instantly recognizable to Mu Zi.

Riding recklessly, he sped through the gate, squeezed through a narrow gap between two closely parked cars, and then turned sharply into a side pathway.

"He's not parking in the lot? Damn!" Mu Zi cursed under his breath and followed into the pathway. By the time he got there, the man had parked his motorcycle and was fixing his hair in the mirror before turning to enter the back door.

"Good morning, Manager Liu!" greeted a young uniformed waitress, emerging from the door with a sweet voice.

"Morning," replied Manager Liu politely, briefly nodding as he passed by, then suddenly pinched her buttocks.

The waitress blushed and hurried away, while Mu Zi watched from a distance.

"Okay, now I'm even more determined to kill him, even for free," Mu Zi thought, watching Liu enter the building.

Mu Zi followed into the back door ten seconds later, pondering his options.

The building was big, and Liu had a large range of activities. With only three days, it would be hard to quickly learn his routine. So, he could only act in three places: Liu's usual route to work, the office and his home.

"His office is out of the question. I'm not invisible," Mu Zi thought, eliminating it as a potential location.

That left the route and his home. Today, he had to determine the location...

He decided to focus on Liu's home and his commuting route for the "accident." Today's task was to pinpoint the location...

As the day progressed, people bustled around, unaware of Mu Zi's deadly plan unfolding in their midst.
