The next day....
It was the twins 18th birthday. A horrid day which could go terribly wrong depending if Zero can protect them. But the twins don't know about this fateful experience which can happen on their birthday, Zero has tried to keep it a secret but for how long can he still keep it?
Maria~ "oh my god IT IS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!"
Eden~ "It is my birthday too you know"
Maria~ "oh whatever, I don't really care cause it is my birthday and I am 18!!!"
Zero~ "alright calm down. Have you got everything with you?"
Eden and Maria~ "Yeah!"
Zero is doing what Yuki asked him to do so long ago on that night 13 years ago. She asked him to take her children to The Cross Academy when it is their 18th birthday to their adoptive father in order for him to keep them safe.
Zero~ "alright let's go then"
So they set off and went to the academy which has so many loved memories of their mother, father and uncle Zero. Zero wished he would never have to return to this place but for the sake of Eden and Maria he would do anything.
They finally got to the academy and it looked as if nothing had changed even though the wall was destroyed after the war and many damages were made.
Maria~ "woah so this is our new home then"
Eden~ "it is very outstanding"
Zero~ "yes it is. I used to go to this school and I have a lot of memories of Yuki and Kaname which can never be forgotten.
Maria~ "Um who is Kaname and Yuki?"
Eden~ "their names sound so familiar"
Zero~"oh no one just friends of mine. Anyways let's go to our dorms.
Maria~" I think this Yuki girl was probably Uncle Zero's crush.
Eden~" Yeah and I think that this Kaname dude probably also liked Yuki.
Maria~"I guess you can tell who got the girl in the end cause our uncle is definitely ALONE!"
They both giggled as Zero got more and more angry.
Zero~"that's it I am gonna get you rascals."
He chased them both and suddenly the twins were stopped by an old man in front of them.
Kaein Cross~" Oh my you must be my grandchildren. Just call me Grandad."
Eden~"who is this dude?"
Maria~"I don't know. He is probably a pedo we should walk away."
Kaein Cross~"Zero!!! My grandchildren are calling me a pedo stop them!" -sniffling-
Zero~"well I can't stop them calling you whatever they think you are Principle Cross."
Kaein Cross~" Call me father!!" -crying-
Maria~"oh so he is the Principle Cross" -whispering-
Eden~"I guess we should say sorry" -whispering-
Eden and Maria~ "we are sorry for being rude!"
Kaein Cross~" No it is fine really. Anyways I want you two to meet someone who is a past student of mine and was a friend of your uncle Zero's ( well not really).
This man who looks awfully familiar to the twins walks up to them with a big smile on his face.
Aidou~" Well hello my name is Aidou. I am guessing that you two are Eden and Maria."
Eden~"Yes we are. It is a pleasure to meet you.
Aidou~" Oh the pleasure is all mine. It is nice to see you two. Oh hi Zero I didn't see you there I thought you went and died somewhere."
Zero~" Oh shut up Aidou or do you want me to get you I am sure you have heard about VH Association and I am No.1 in that business."
Aidou gulps...
Aidou~"Fine but remember our mission here is to keep some certain people safe from you know who."
Zero~" Well no sh** Sherlock why else would we be here?"
Kaein Cross~" Zero now is not the time to start fighting with each other. I am going to be starting the defender and protective shields. So Zero brief the twins what they have to do."
Zero~"ok I will after we have unpacked."
Zero goes back to the twins and sees that Maria has gone.
Zero~" Where is Maria?"
Eden~"I don't know. I lost track of her when she was running."
Zero~"We have to find her RIGHT NOW!"
With Maria....
Maria~" Woah this place is HUGE. I want to see more of this place."
Suddenly she hears some rustling in the bushes.
Maria~" Who's there? Come out right now Eden because you are not scaring me?"
With Eden and Zero....
Eden~"Ugh where is she?"
Zero~"I don't know but I hope she is not getting herself into trouble."
Back with Maria....
Maria~" Come out right now!"
Suddenly a breeze is overcome into her face she closes her eyes since it is so powerful. She slowly opens her eyes realising it wasn't her uncle Zero or anyone she knows.....
