Chapter 3 - Daily Life(1)

...That was kind of nice?

Slowly walking I began to think of the short time I spent with that stranger.

He was nice. I wonder why?

He must've wanted something from me...Damn it I was too into the moment.

...no I have to stop doubting good things. Maybe he's like Jake or maybe I look so bad he tried to cheer me up.

No nobody would do that for a stranger.

...

"...no it's fine if he starts asking for things I'll just stop.....going."

He probably won't ask for anything after all isnt he rich?

No he's just good with his boss.

I decided to try and relax by looking right at the night sky as I made my way back home.

"It's so pretty."

Up above me is a sheet of black covered in bright sparks of different sizes with the moon near the center of the sky softly shining a calming blue light.

So many stars...

"The moon really is the best."

...Its been a while since I've felt like this...It's fine just look at the moon and you'll feel better.

"Its so pretty."

It's just another ordinary night. Some stars are clear as day and some you have to look for while the rest you really have to focus to see. Each and every single one of these lights covered my eyes adding to the endlessly long purple black blanket that's currently covering the sky the weak the light blue the moon spreads is the clearest.

The night really is the best.

Still looking at the sky I continued to walk looking forward every now and then, making sure to listen for footsteps after all I dont want to accidentally bump into anyone.

Eventually I made it home.

I climbed over the fence that protects our backyard and walked in front of my room window.

"Looks like it closed. Good."

The window has only ever been able stay open for a couple seconds after all.

I pulled a palm sized extra strength magnet from my pocket and pressed it against the rubber stopper on the bottom of the window.

It went with the window as I pulled the magnet upwards

"Looks like the rubber is starting to tear. Maybe i glued a tad to many metal balls to the bottom?"

No it's fine I'll just order another rubber strip and stuff it a little less. I grabbed the bottom of the now lifted up window and slowly slide the magnet away.

I put the magnet back in my pocket and grabbed my sax case sliding it back in slowly making sure to drop it in the bed carefully.

I then slide my way down the window as it isn't exactly big enough for me to just jump right in.

After slowly getting on the bed I slowly closed the window making sure not to make a single sound even when I put the lock on.

I didn't rest after. I immediately began putting away my sax case.

I once again moved the mattress and lifted up the wooden support thing that just rest on the floor so I could place my sax in its slot.

After making sure everything looked fine and that my room was clean I put the bed back to normal and began to sleep after setting a few alarms for seven tomorrow morning.

...I'm so tired...that was fun...that was fun?

But it was so tiring...the playing felt nice...well I won't find a better place to play...

After one last thought I feel asleep.

....Talking....is hard...

-Next Morning-

"LOUD METAL GUITAR NOISES....MORE LOUD METAL GUITAR NOISES...THE CHORUS IS ABOUT TO START...WAKE."

I grabbed my phone and immediately shut of the alarm.

How in the hell does this help her sleep...

I ignored the head ache the music caused and began my morning routine.

I took off the clothes I was wearing leaving my underwear, put my phone on my side making sure the rubber strap was squeezing it, grabbed the wooden washboard from the side of my closet door, and hand washed them in the sink with a small bit of soap. After that I beat the hell out of them after the sink had emptied making sure the soap had spread.

After around five minutes of this I grabbed the washboard and began to get rid of all the extra water and soap making sure not to mess up and ruin the cloth.

I did it for ten minutes.

"I've become way to good at this...If she changed more often we'd enough clothes to use the washer...no it's fine."

Actually we do use it...I just like hand washing stuff better.

...Still shes such a slob. Work clothes and the same messy pajama bottoms....She is pretty creative though with the whole weird stuff collecter shtick she's got going.

I then folded my clothes and went to the kitchen.

"This is a tad dangerous but it's better than bringing up the price of the electric bill."

I grabbed two small pans and placed the large raising metal for the stove above them.

I then tossed the folded clothes and turned the burners to a four and began heating the empty pans.

I stood at the stove for a while checking the clothes every now and then.

After a couple minutes the clothes had dried quite a bit. They were still wet as I didn't want to increase the risk by even a bit but they should dry throughout the day

I then hung the clothes outside and checked the time.

"Seven fourty nine. Alright I have another hour so I'll clean up first."

I always clean in the morning since neither me nor my mom are here to make a mess the moment it hits ten.

I grabbed a large trash bag from the pantry and began cleaning the living room.

"Maybe I should clean the carpet tonight...No it's fine I'll do it this weekend."

I have less hours on the weekends after all.

I ignored the many stains on the carpet and began grabbing the trash on and by the recliner.

I grabbed every beer bottle, frozen meal box, and bag of chips and tossed them into the large bag in my hand.

...Alright I might not need a second bag.

After clearing the floor and recliner of trash I began wiping the recliner and couch down.

...It looks so ugly a mid size couch in the back and an ugly, old, beer infested, psuedo bed chair trash right in front of the tv.

I placed the trash at the back of the kitchen and grabbed my shiny spray and some large napkins.

It's just a bottle of water and scented cleaner but it makes things look good.

I sprayed the recliner and rubbed it down with the napkins giving it a nice shiny look.

I then sprayed a napkin and wiped down the tv screen since she likes a clear screen.

I checked the time and saw it hit eight so

I decided to hop in the shower real quickly after setting a ten minute alarm.

-This scene is omitted because perverts exist-

I grabbed my work clothes from the backyard and put them on even though they were slightly damp.

Guess today's walk is going to be nicer than usual. I grabbed the trash bag from the kitchen and began my walk to work.
