That evening, he took everything she had collected at home and stored it in his designated space inside the ring. Even after a room full of stuff, there was still a ton of room in the ring. In fact, Ren even doubted whether there was an unlimited space. After all, this attribute was the lowest skill of the ancient weapon, and it was ancient."
Ren left the house and went towards the warehouses. As he proceeded carefully, he suddenly saw the guards on the other side lying on the ground. When he ran over to them, he realized that they were asleep. And he realized that his mother had preceded him to knock out the guards and get something.
After all, that woman had managed the most important places in the clan ,"warehouses" for almost 10 years.
Ren, too, saw the sleeping guards break into the warehouses and see that everything in the most important places had been taken. Of course, Ren wasn't stupid either. His thoughts differed from what his mother considered important.
The boy began to store a lot of everything that suits him. Especially when he entered the herbal section, which has alchemical materials, he was blown away by the fact that it was untouched. After emptying the entire alchemy section, he went to the library section, which is in each warehouse, to find a few important books. A few things were taken there as well, but most remained.
Within an hour, Ren had retrieved enormous quantities of items from four different warehouses where the guards had been knocked unconscious. Important books, safes with money, clothes, scrolls (which Ren didn't know what they were for), herbs, liquids hidden in special bottles, and hard-to-find but useful things like the Glycerin that Ren had used before...
The best part was that these substances (in small quantities) were easy to find. The amounts that Ren stole could not even be measured in grams or kilos. The huge barrels and boxes, carefully stored inside huge crates, had all been taken to the ring untouched. Ren even got greedy at one point and bought a few extras he didn't know what they were.
It was a juicy open buffet. He would have a lot of fun if he didn't lost his home and family.
....
That morning, when the Gan clan was raging, they did not even think of looking for a mother and a son they could not remember in the clan. Although Ren felt bad inside, there was nothing he could do. Once her mother's illusion was lifted, it was clear that the clan would not treat him well.
He watched the events for a while near the clan's land and set out before the sun came up. First he went to the hill by the sea to sit for a few minutes.
Even though it was cold, he sat for a while in his favorite spot by the tree with quiet muttering. He was still putting the tree in someone else's place. As Ren whispered, he spoke, confessed, and raved about emotional things that reflected his inner feelings. It was heartbreaking.
Then he got up and started walking. He had no particular place in mind. Needing a war clan that took mages and warriors as students Ren started walking to get some information. But he went to the center of the city first.
Of course, he wasn't going to the Winged Panther City, but to another, larger city that was just nearby.
"Cloud City" at a distance of three days...
...
The "School of Awei" has a very humble name as opposed to schools that get names like "Giant-hunters", "Dragoncutters" or just random but very flashy rhymes.
Awei School is a school located within the boundaries of Cloud City, in the south of the Nanntia Region, overshadowed by two other great super schools. In the "Southern Lands", which includes even the region of Nanntia, it has a famous but fearful name from time immemorial.
It has experienced a slight decline in recent years. But although its former glittering reputation had not stood still, it had not turned into a small school to be scorned. It was still the school that had the most mysterious and largest district in Cloud City.
(Nanntia Region is the general name of the area that includes the cities of "Cloud City and Winged Panther". But it is usually called "Cloud City" lands instead of Nanntia because Cloud City is larger and more famous.)
There were those who said that when the Awei School used to be much more powerful, it ruled the entire Southern Region. How true this now-legendary information was, no one, including Ren, knew.
..
Ren followed the man in front of him, dressed in green robes, who moved freely despite the cold weather. At that moment, they were not in the school's office in the city, where the school has a small registration office and one building, but on the actual grounds. From the center of the city, they were walking on the road specially built by the school. It was forbidden and deadly to enter the school from the outside except this way.
And now they were walking along the mountain roads on a mysterious path carefully carved with wood and stone chips. The area was covered with various shades of green. Among the mighty forests, which were not affected despite the cold weather, the scenery was magnificent, the air was very lively, and the buildings in the valley they entered looked very beautiful.
The elaborately decorated houses and buildings were hidden among the small mountains.
The only thing Ren could not stand at that moment was the shouting, or noise, of children his own age next to him.
Although he had lost a mother and a father he never had, Ren was a wise boy who wanted to enjoy the sights he saw. In the Gan Clan, he had learned the importance of being calm, intelligent, and acting appropriately. You couldn't behave the way you wanted in every environment. Sometimes just being quiet and weighing the situation is commercially profitable.
But the children next to him were not well educated and were brought up randomly by their families. No child in his clan could possibly endure such stupid acts. Even Sirius, whom Ren never liked, was just being mean and childish towards him. He was generally a positive and intelligent boy. He was harmless and focused on his goals. Sirius, whom Ren hated, was a thousand times better than these idiots.
There is a saying that a clever enemy is better than a bunch of stupid friends." Ren remembered this and smiled.
..
While struggling to get into the school, he had found that getting in was very easy, and leaving was extremely difficult. For example, when he said that he was coming to enter the school, most of the officers in the office were freaked out and laughed awkwardly.
Maybe they found it strange that a lonely boy like Ren wanted to be separated from his family without being forced by his parents. Because in general, young children do not want to leave their families and the house they grew up in, no matter how important it is.
Thinking about it now, Ren realized that they had thought he was an orphan.
- Hours passed.
Since they walked for a few hours in total, even those who spent energy talking at first began to silently wait for the road to end. But it took a long time to start walking from the city center and go to a hidden part of a wilderness.
Especially the children have been seeing a place with mysterious and beautiful houses from afar for a long time. But no matter how far they walked, this seemingly place never came close.
But no one made a sound and they waited in silence for the road to end. The Awei School had a frightening effect that was foreign to Ren but quite common to the people of Cloud City. These children had grown up knowing that the most terrifying asset in their area was this school, not the city army.
Those who shouted while outside of the grounds had a more cowardly demeanor since they had entered the school grounds.
When they finally arrived at the housing estate, the green-clad man in front of them turned and gave a stern warning. "If you think you can bring your personal belongings with you, don't try it in vain. No guns, anything valuable in money or even simple family heirloom items can get in. Now take off all your clothes and help them pile up and burn them!"
Some of the children hummed. But because of the man's voice tone they couldn't raise their protest. Except their underwear, they took off their clothes without making a sound. The man especially checked their laundry and burned clothes and things with a strong fire that came out of his hand.
Even though the clothes took up a lot of space, the items were very few. In the group of twenty, eighteen kids had taken pictures or items to reminder of their family.
Ren was laughing inside as they all said goodbye to a significant part of their past with wet eyes.
"With this ring, I can make 50,000 bombs right under your nose and you still wouldn't know. Hahaha....."
