"Ryle, we want you to attend the Lion Academy In Sun City," Ter spoke as he solemnly watched Ryle.
"Sun City?" Ryle asked confused, he has never heard of that place, in fact, he never even heard what this place was called, he never bothered to ask.
"This is Fors Village, Fors Village is one of the many villages under Sun City, which is a minor city that is under the Major City, Feather City. " Lily stopped to let catch up.
"This.. Mom, what does a city look like?" Ryle asked, which also made Lyn very intrigued as her eyes shined with stars.
"Hahaha, your mother has never been outside, her beauty will only bring a calamity on our family" Ter joked but one could hear from his voice that he felt very bad about it. Ryle understood a bit, while Lyn was clueless and just kept listening.
"Dear, don't worry about it. Anyway, Ryle. Leon Academy starts in 5 years, it is basic education, reading, writing, and many other useful qualities. If you manage to have good degrees, then you get an admittance letter from Feather Academy in Feather City." Lily spoke as she patted Ter on his shoulder.
"Feather Academy? there are more?" Ryle asked very with expectations, first there was Leon Academy and now Feather academy?
"Yes, Every Minor and Major City has an academy for those from 10 to 13 for basic education."
'For those that can pay that is' Lily thought to herself before shaking her head.
"afterward there is the university for those wanting to be scholars, Military school for the, well, those that want to join the military, which you won't join, no argument possible, then there is the Magic Academy. which there is only one that resides in the capital." Lily spoke as she dumped a bunch of information at Ryle.
"Magic!?" Both Lyn and Ryle instantly had sparkles in their eyes when they heard about it. Ter and Lily smiled as she saw their reaction.
"We are not much aware of it, but our village has an Energy Absorption, energy gathering or whatever you want to call it. I like to call it Energy Eating technique hehehehe " Ter spoke as he made a silly laugh. just to be elbowed in the side as Lily smiled at him.
"The energy techniques are hard to get, but ours is the lowest of low, so no one cares about it. You can go try it if you want and see if you have an aptitude for magic, though we also are clueless about it. Sorry for being useless in this topic kids." Lily said as she patted their head.
"Anyway, back to the topic. Ryle, we want you to prepare yourself, although it is just basic education, it is important for your future. You can become a scholar and live a much better life." Ter spoke as he also moved close and patted Ryle's head, who in turn felt so warm inside that his heart might have already melted.
"Thanks, mom, dad, I promise to not let you down. " Ryle spoke as he smiled at them.
"Alright go to bed now, it is later," Lily said, followed by both of them running to the bathroom to wash and of course brush their teeth. Not long after both of them went to their bed and slept. back in the living room, Lily was slowly walking towards Ter.
"You said you had a present for me, daddy? I think I want another one. Can you give me that?" Lily spoke seductively which made Ter heat up as he looked at her like wolf readying himself to pounce on the rabbit.
"That I can do, let's go to the bedroom, I doubt you will have energy left tomorrow. " Ter spoke as he picked her up in a princess carry to their room.
"hahaha, want to bet? who lasts longer gets more time with the kids for a month!" Lily said as she kissed Ter on his neck which made him heat up to the max.
"Oh, you're on. " Ter said as they went inside the room and closed the door behind them.^

The next day, both Lyn and Ryle ran to the village heads house.
*Knock Knock*
"coming" an old voice sounded, who then opened the door.
"Oh if it isn't young Ryle and little angel Lyn, what brings you here." The village head spoke as he smiled at the two of them.
"Grandpa Kent, Mama and Daddy said that we can come and see the magic here!" Lily spoke as she went to hug the village head, Kent.
"hahaha, little angel, I am not a good magician, your dad is better than me," Kent spoke as he patted her head, which made Lyn smile sweetly at him.
"Grandpa Kent, what Lyn meant was the Energy Absorption method, he said you had one," Ryle spoke as he too went to hug Kent, ever since he remembers, Kent was like a real grandfather for him, well, for all the children in the village.
"So that's what it is, come in. let me go get them." Kent said as he walked inside and rummaged through some of his belongings.
"Alright, I had only one, but last month I managed to find one when we were hunting in the forest, we are not about it, but it is very old. So just read both of them and see if you understand it or if you can use it." Kent gave them 2 books, one which had a gray cover and the other which was from unknown material that was rotting on the edges. It looked like a special kind of paper.
Ryle looked at both books, the gray one had the text "Rank 1 Basic Energy Absorption" while the other was more obscure, it had no rank nor a name that made clear what it did. The only reason one could see that it was an Energy Absorption method was because of the pictures on the first page. Its name was " Star Refining, World Absorption, God Killing, Budhha Slaying." the moment Ray read that name he was so confused that he just looked at Kent as if he was joking with them.
"Grandpa Kent, what is this name? Is this a joke of the past?" Ryle could not help but ask as he looked at the book in his hand. Refining Stars? Absorbing worlds? Killing gods? and what the hell is a Buddha? And why slay it?.
"Legend says that the ancient humans could travel to different worlds and then destroy them, absorb all the energy to grow stronger, once the worlds were getting scarce, they put their sight on the stars and used the stars to grow stronger. As for killing god, I am as clueless as you are young Ryle and Buddha was an ancient religion." Kent shook his head, while he inwardly thought 'how should I know? we found it by accident.'
"Can I take this home? I wish to try it." Ryle spoke as he was slightly interested, such bold words, he has to see if the technique can live up to them.
"Me too! I want to practice with brother too!" Lyn spoke as she did her puppy eyes at Kent, who in turn chuckled at their behavior.
'One is mature for his age and the other is like an Angel, if they were not brother and sister, they would have been the perfect pair.' Shaking his head, he gave them the book to borrow for 1 year, if they find nothing then they are to give it back and try the other.

In a forest close to Feather City, on the outskirt of the Forest, a Woman and a man were meeting each other.
"Any information?" A woman asked a man in robes that was kneeling in front of her.
"None Miss Grimor, still the same, they have been looking for you and Head Maid Rafaela Lukhart." The man in robes spoke.
"Good, send a few of our most trusted Scouts and Assassins, have them find her first and bring her here, safely. Make sure you are not found." The woman, Rena spoke as she turned around and walked back into the forest.
"As you wish, I will come back with good news." The man spoke before vanishing in a flash of darkness.
"God fucking damnit, Jess, Jame, I swear on my life and my name Grimor, I will not rest until I annihilate everyone related to you, and this fucking Empire, still sending no help after so many years. Did they forget about us already, you will regret." Rena gritted her teeth as she spit those words out, her Aura manifesting in a red hue around her that made the nearby beasts freeze in terror. Her eyes had rings of Crimson rotating in her eyes.
She calmed down after a bit of venting on some poor animals. "Ryle, Rafaela, please be safe. Just wait until Lucas recovers." Her expression once more flickering, but unlike before, she radiated sadness around her.

Time passed by as Ryle and Lyn were reading the manual, they both did not understand it much in the first couple months, but Ryle made some progress after 8 months, he tried the technique, but he would constantly feel something block when he was at a certain point. No one in the village had much knowledge about it, so he focused on it himself. Lyn also tried it, but unlike Ryle, she did not understand what was happening.
Time passed as Ryle tried to change the technique to fit him, he had heard of the story of the First Empress, how she changed a technique meant for a different race to fit humans and later made many, many more to make humans capable of making their own. So he figured this might also be for a different race, for that he tried to circulate the technique but whenever he was stuck he would try to find a different path, he for some reason he was unaware of, could perceive his body very clearly. Which was a byproduct of his soul being strengthened, normally only those that have reached rank 3 mages will start to focus on their soul, with a few exceptions that don't focus on fighting, like Skill Makers, who are those that make these techniques, though their official names is skills, no one in this village is aware of it.
with trial and error and the help of Lyn, who surprisingly was very talented herself. for she could feel that something was not right faster than Ryle did but because her perception was not high enough, she did not know what so she just explained her experience to Ryle who would, in turn, use it together with his own experience to make the skill fit them both.
Time passed fast, Ryle and Lyn would research together like some old man for 2 hours every day, followed by a few hours of playing and a few hours with their parents. the peace of a cozy family stayed like that until 3 years passed since Ryle and Lyn got their world turned upside down. Especially for Lyn.
"Kids, come here, mom and dad have a surprise for you. " Ter spoke as he called them over to the sofa.
"dad? what surprise?" Ryle asked curiously
"Yes dad, what surprise?" Lyn, on the other hand, was excited. She is now also 5 years old, she hoped to get an Admittance Ticket for the Leon Academy. Lily and Ter both could read her thoughts from her expression.
"Mommy is pregnant, and Lady Milan checked, she is your youngest sister," Lily spoke as she beamed a smile. Ryle was frozen but soon overjoyed. when Lyn was born, he could not take care of her as a kid because he was too young, but now he was 8 years, he can truly take care of her as much as he can. Lyn thought, she felt sad.
"What is wrong little angel, do you not want a little sister?" Lily asked her after she saw her expression. Lyn, in turn, shook her head as her eyes got a bit wet.
"Why is that little angel, tell dad and we will fix it." This time Ter spoke, although they want more children, they would rather have them get well with each other.
"If.. If I have a little sister, then Ryle won't play with me anymore." Lyn spoke in a meek voice, trying to hold back her tears.
"What? Why do you say that Lyn, you are my dear sister, no one will take your place from my heart. I have enough space for both you and our new sister." Ryle spoke as he patted her head. al though 8, his behavior is more like he is 20, which surprised both Lily and Ter, but they were incredibly happy about Ryle's behavior.
"Really?" Lyn asked as she looked at him, while a few tears streaked down her face.
"Did I ever lie to you?" Ryle spoke as he smiled at her. Lyn went into a hug as her mood took a 180 degree.
Times passed and soon a year went by. Ryle now had a new younger sister, Lisa.
