The sign for 'Old Daddy Grocery Store' was clearly visible by the side of the cobblestoned path.
Jenny Black stepped down from the carriage, gazing at the store, momentarily lost in thought.
For a moment, she didn't know how to face him.
Struggling for a short while, she nonetheless entered the store.
The space inside was very cramped, with the counter and goods taking up most of it, barely accommodating a few customers.
A layer of dust had accumulated on the glass counter, and the middle-aged shopkeeper was resting his head behind the counter, looking almost asleep, no wonder the business was poor.
"Knock, knock."
Jenny knocked on the counter, saw the shopkeeper raise his head, his temples slightly frosted with age, her voice choked a bit, "Tutor..."
"Ah, Jenny, you've arrived."
Su Lu yawned.
"Why did you suddenly disappear all those years ago..." Jenny finally voiced the doubt that had lingered in her heart for years.
