Duke Mark's domain has been abuzz with a series of major events recently.
First, Duke Markus fell critically ill, sparking a fierce struggle among his sons for the position of heir.
Then, surprisingly, the Duke's illness dramatically improved. He banished several of his grown sons and reassumed power.
Last of all, generously, he rewarded the healer who treated his illness by granting Ilya and two others the titles of knights and bestowing upon them a fief comprising tens of thousands of acres.

This was the name Ilya and the others chose for their collective fiefdom.
Of course, the name was not important. What mattered was that it was going to be the location for the construction of the Mage Tower and possibly the continent's first Mage Academy.
