"I knew it...I'm not a human!"
Su Lu lifted up a tentacle, or something similar to a tentacle.
This was not his true limb, it just appeared because he felt it should.
With a thought, the tentacle shrunk back, its surface skin became even more delicate and smooth, sprouting a set of five human fingers.
The piece of tentacle shockingly morphed into a human arm.
"It seems I'm not a tentacle monster...but a...shapeshifter? A changer? A creature with no fixed form...no, not necessarily a creature..."
After gaining 'perception', Su Lu looked at himself, finding that he seemed to have reincarnated into a bizarre life form.
"Combining some matter and energy...able to determine its appearance and even evolve organs for environmental adaptation...this life form is pretty advanced."
Su Lu sighed and plunged into depths of sleep again.

"Sss...wake up..."
"Division of labor...cooperation..."
At some point, he heard some 'voices' by his ear.
