Chapter 36 - Points of view

Natasha POV

[Mission Objective: make sure Harry will go and steal the sorcerer's stone.]

Perhaps task that needs the least effort as the guy is already rearing to go out and steal the stone himself.

[Mission Objective: Accompany Harry Potter in his quest.]

Another easy mission objective.

[Mission Objective: Take Harry to the mirror of Erised.]

Done for the day, time to pretend to be incapacitated.

Thus the reason for this queen to be sleeping in one non-fatal blow. Hehehe being slammed onto the wall is pretty bad for normal humans but it's no problem for the likes of me.

As expected, Harry Potter is bound to lose this match. The other party needn't not move his finger to defeat Harry but he seemed to be enjoying himself. Something he is sure to regret later when he is being sliced and diced endlessly. But that is not my problem my task here is to stay like this here and just let the virtual intelligence mask my body statistics so that no one could notice me.

Harry tried his best to fight. The fiend transformed professor Quirell however is just too powerful for him to handle even with his adult level capabilities. The one he is facing after all is still the real deal when it comes to dark magic.

Then the most beautiful moment in my life happened. I finally managed to get a glimpse of the Lord's figure. Albeit wearing a full set of black shadowy armor which covered everything from head to toe. The feeling of being in the same place with him however is happiness enough for me. He even promised to reward my performance, what a good Lord. Its just too bad that Quirell is too weak to match up to him even with the help of Voldemort's soul.

[Mission Objective: Invisibility Cloak secured, Harry Potter implicated, Harry Potter delivered, 100% Accomplished. Congratulations intern no 1235314 for completing your class A chain mission! Standby for further instructions.]

Harry Potter POV

I have a single mission given to me in Akademiya before coming to Hogwarts, and that is to gain enough strength to defeat Voldemort.

I had a sudden epiphany about his plans when I realised that what Rubeus Hagrid took from Gringotts Bank the day I was escorted to my inheritance was the sorcerer's stone made by the 'fake immortal' Mr. Nicholas Flamel.

I managed to guess that the stone should be hidden in the suddenly restricted area of the castle's third floor. After much snooping around, I saw a three headed dog guarding a trapdoor in one of the rooms in the third floor so it is highly likely to be the place that will lead me to the stone.

I convinced my brilliant friend Miss Natasha Romanovich to help me steal the stone for the resurrection of my parents, which is a total bull because the stone itself didn't have that power. What I needed is to simply stop Voldemort that is most likely to send his pawns to take the stone as he couldn't really live off of unicorn blood all the time.

I suspect two professors, one is Severous Snape and the other is Quintus Quirell who have both been acting weird recently. I can feel hate from Snape, he sadly can't just make my life hell because I aced his subject. Quirell on the other hand seems to avoid making contact with me all the time, but something in him makes me want to vomit my breakfast that it makes the scar in my forehead hurt.

We, actually I decided to intercept Voldemort's pawn when he finally makes a move and so with the help of Natasha who is an excellent rune carver, we managed to set an alarm up to know when someone tried to force their way in there.

We didn't have to wait that long, in a matter of days, someone had already triggered it. Natasha and I went down together and found many things. I felt like, I'm in an easy mode game in one of the mazes of Akademiya. Honestly, are they even trying to protect the stone at all? I mean... Hogwarts is supposedly safe and all from outside threats but one can never be too careful right?

Well, it was easy until the Boss room. It turns out that it was actually professor Quirell who was Voldemort's dog. He is really strong. None of my spells worked as he simply stood there in the same place to recieve everything I cast.

I know and admit it now, I am still too weak at this time compared to other adult wuzzards. Especially compared to someone who uses dark magic like professor Quirell.

"You are mere toys..." is what I heard last before genuinely losing consciousness. No actually, I heard something else I think it said... [Initiating memory mask... Simulating possible outcomes...] before I visited Neverland. I could be hallucinating but mehh... I had this dream about me and Quirell facing each other and he ultimately turns into a collapsing pile of ash and soil. It's quite ligit, like watching a movie or something.

I woke up to a pile of junk foods and an old fag foggey entering the medical wing. He was talking about the dream I had which confused me a little, then I realised that he must have tried to read my memories as I was lying in unconscious in bed. Well old man, consider yourself lucky. Reading the mind of someone who came from Akademiya is a taboo that not many people would be willing to challenge. Still, you have to pay for looking without permission.

After saying a whole ton of bullcrap about love and whatnot, shenaniganish fame and all that, Dumbledore finally left with one last crap about his childhood. Fork you and your childhood old man, nobody cares.

I was allowed to go out after another two days of recovery, Natasha was waiting for me by the door.

Ahh yes indeed. Slitherin won the house cup by a landslide once more due to my and Natasha's additional points. Just saying, it's not that big of a deal really.

..,...,.,......,.

"Master... There are more movements from the mysterious unknown groups that we have failed to infiltrate. What do you wish for this servant to do?"

Golie is once again going about his daily status update with Viktor.

"Do nothing... On the other hand, is the task given to you put into motion?"

Viktor asked.

"Yes Milord. This servant would not dare disregard the master's personal instruction. It is being accomplished as we speak."

Viktor nodded at Golie's positive response.

"That task is high priority in my plans and must be done with great care. See to it that everything is taken care of."

"Your will be done Milord!"

"What did you manage to find?"

It was a question filled with wonder...

"Absolutely nothing. Except for the near extinction of vampires in Europe, there's nothing much more to find out. Every path forward is a dead end. However, I have heard some 'other' piece of interesting news."

The man purposefully stopped what he was about to say.

"What do you mean by every path is a dead end? And what sort of interesting news?"

The man on the other line asked impatiently.

"There's nothing left of the site, everything points out to an unknown power threatening the locals but they are more of a heresay than ghost stories. Nothing except rumors of them exist. The news I'm talking about is a rather sensitive, there are whispers going around here about a special auction. A batch of nuclear warheads as they called the weapon used in Romania is about to appear in this auction as the main item. I heard the other powers have already sent their people... Shouldn't we go and try to get our hands on these things?"

"Is your information reliable?"

If this is a trap then it would be bad for their group, but if the information is true then they couldn't let other factions get their hands on such a weapon with a high capacity for mass destruction or it could spell their fate which would be most foseeably similar to that of the vampire's. In short they must secure such a weapon or they are toast.

"Yeah the info came from Weird, the guy is hateful. But his information are always spot on."

There's a lot of unwilling bitterness in his voice but he looks like he was helpless about it.

"Then there's no need to question our involvement on the matter. We have to get our hands on those warheads lest other factions use it to threaten us."

"There may be some difficulties in this assignment I'm afraid."

"From whom?"

"As you have said, the other powers seems to also be very interested in the weapon and already have sent their people to do the same task that I have."

Contrary to the situation where a problem is somewhat foreseeably close, the speaker did not seem to be truly concerned but is instead excited. The other man on the line shook his head knowing what runs through the head of his friend and compatriot.

"What do you need?"

A smile grew on the face of the person who proposed the acquisition of the nuclear warheads.

"I need permission to use my personal weapon. I also need backup, and of course I need you to release my restrictions on the use of force."

"Fine. I assume you know the consequences of failure?"

"Understood. I'll do my best."

This didn't just happen in one or two groups as more and more found out about the news on the nuclear warheads and it has now become almost an open secret among the hidden powers of the world.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Summer vacation is probably the best time for a teacher, professor or in this case a headmaster to relax and enjoy a lengthy period of leisure time. Dumbledore however is currently holding his head down on his desk more depressed than ever.

Grindelwald kept on harassing him with his ideology of wanting to merge the muggle and the wizarding world. Another is a letter from the upper management that just arrived, it is warning him about the unusual happenings around Hogwarts that exposed the young wizards to danger which made the overprotective noble parents complain. He is now being questioned for his credibility in taking the headmaster position. Lastly is his act of losing the sorcerer's stone which he borrowed from his French boyfriend who is currently raging daily at the ministry of magic office in London.

"Dumbledore, talk to me!!"

It came from his floo, where the face made from burning coal is currently calling out in anger.

"You old fool, I told you not to play around and see what you've done!? If you won't give it back, then know that I know of many ways to make you feel like dying together with me..."

The floo then suddenly went quiet for a few seconds. Then...

"Albus, we have talked with the French ministry and they have agreed to give us a grace period for investigation. Are you sure that the stone is lost? I thought that you made sure to place an enchantment to make it come back to you? Make sure to figure this out Albus or our reputation goes down to the gutters again. Do not disappoint me."

News would have been spread to everyone already if not for the intervention of both the ministry from the two countries. Dumbledore is given a grace period of one year to find and return the stone to its rightful owner or he will have to pay for losing it and not even his current position/s and status will be able to help him this time.
