As the command room personnels were counting the distance of the enemy from the base, Head General Alex then intently focused on the radar beside him while occasionally glancing at the screen. At this very moment the whole horizon itself is filled with enemies heading towards the city as its final target.
At the same time the room was so silent that everyone is anticipating Head General Alex command.
"600 meters"
"500 meters"
"400 meters"
The moment the enemy got that close to them, Head General Alex then gave his command.
"Attack!!!"
Upon hearing that command, various command room personnel then relayed the message to the supporters and the leaders on the walls and frontline of the war. The moment the order was received, all of them then acted accordingly.
"Fire!"
"FIRE!!!"
"Launching!!!"
"Bring them hell!!!"
Once this was said out loud the cannons stationed on top of the wall then fired the Klein laser, the guns attached on the wall then begun to spew out long ranged armor penetrating bullets, the cannons from the battleship and destroyer then fired their Klein rocket cannon, the bomb launcher from the ships then launched their Klein bombs at the enemy, and the submarines launched their Klein torpedo.
The moment allanner of projectiles were launched at them, Uno couldn't help but somehow laughed at the city's attempt to bring then down, before calling Siete to make his move.
"Siete!"
Hearing Uno's call, Siete then moved at the very front of the group, as he stretched out his hand into the air and formed a barrier around the galapagus big enough to protect them. With that all manner of attacks were blocked by his barrier leaving them unscathed from the barrage of attacks. However the same couldn't be said to the other chaos beings beside them, while they were protected, the chaos beings beside them suffered from the attacks as roars and screeches can be heard from the chaos beings being hit by the barrage of attacks.
As for the galapagus that the chaos beings are riding on, they simply tanked the attacks as the barrage of attacks didn't affect them at all. The situation is also the same underwater. To be exact the chaos beings underwater suffered more damage from the ones on the surface, after all they don't have a galapagus who can tank the attacks from the enemy.
"The galapagus are still moving!!!"
"Do not let up! Keep firing!!!"
As the battle rages on, the air type chaos beings begun charging up their own projectile attacks as some of them launched a laser like attack towards the people on the walls.
From there the soldiers on top of the wall were attacked as they tried to avoid getting hit by the enemy. Luckily no one died from that counter attack as the commanders on the field ordered the guns and missile launchers to aim at the flying chaos beings.
"Ground the enemy!!!"
In retaliation the defensive weapons then fired at the flying chaos beings causing some of those fall from the sky and crash to the ocean floor. However some of the attacks were blocked by the flying whales on the sky as they somehow didn't notice the attacks.
"Damnit! Aim the lasers at those whales in the skies"
"But sir! What about the galapagus? If we do that, we will lose the firepower against the galapagus front"
"Just aim some of them, not all, but some of them"
Under the commander's order, some of the laser then aimed at the sky whales in the air, as they fired, causing massive explosion to erupt in the air and some sky whales being left battered up from the attack.
"Keep firing!!!"
Back at the command room as the command personnel were observing the radar, one of them then called out.
"300 meters!!!"
"General! They are slowing down!"
"Alright! Relay my message to the supporters to tell their agents to start doing their task... also prepare to fire the photon cannon"
"Yes sir!!!"
"Photon cannon currently charged up at 100% sir!!!"
"Great! Then aim at the very forefront galapagus, I reckon the enemy leaders are there" Commanded by Head General Alex
"Understood sir!"
Under the command room's control the only photon cannon on the wall then aimed at the galapagus where the sentinels are stationed at, as it begun to charge up and launched its laser like attack at them.
In a manner of few milliseconds, the laser like attack collided with Siete's barrier, causing some area of the barrier itself to start showing signs of breaking apart. Upon seeing this attack, Uno couldn't help but be amazed as he realized just how much preparation the humans have made for their arrival.
But the most stressed out of all of them is none other than Siete, never did he expect that the humans would be able to produce such weapon capable enough to break his barrier, because of that, he has no choice but to strengthen the front of the barrier which weakened some part, causing the laser like attack to ricochet in other directions and and squarely hitting the other galapagus on its either sides.
From there the two galapagus screamed in pain as the laser like attack razed their shells and even vaporized some of the chaos beings riding on their back. Because of that they were left with a huge wounds, as the two galapagus screamed before stopping on their tracks to recover.
"They've prepared well, unfortunately we have to get rid of that weapon, Ocho!!! Get rid of that weapon"
"Got it!!!"
Hearing Uno's words, Ocho then launched herself forward, as she bypassed the distance and heads towards the the city's walls.
At the command room, some personnel then relay the status of the photon cannon towards the general.
"Photon cannon currently charging at 2% sir!!!"
At the same time another personnel noticed the changes on the battlefield as he hurriedly reported.
"General!!! An enemy launched itself from the frontline and its headed towards the photon cannon, it seems like it was tasked to destroy the cannon"
"What are you waiting for, order people to protect it! No matter what we can't afford the cannon to be destroyed" ordered by Head General Alex as he observed the battle on the screen.
