As Chaos spread at the surface level of the city, such news was naturally received by Jinwoo the moment their group neared the exit of the passageway. Once him and the other people around him learned of such news, an unimaginable rage boiled within them, as they all held it back in order not to rampage.
After all the initial intent for this operation was to not involve the citizens of the city, or better yet the what was left of the population in Moscow after the apocalypse. However the terrorist groups action just destroyed their initial intent and literally started a mass murder on the surface.
Every preparation they had was destroyed, the terrorist group managed to escape their encirclement and now had involved the innocent citizens in their battle. Alongside rage, unrest were also among their feelings as every ticking second was important. The longer they let their enemy on the loose, the more people will be killed on the process.
In that moment, Jinwoo kept his tonfa and took out his staff once more which confused many of the people in the surroundings. Time was of the essence, and the only way they could reach the surface without going through another line of maze in this dark passageway was to go up. But above their heads was a concrete ceiling which is literally a few levels below the ground, If they push their way up from this deep underground, it will instead cause a cave in which would bury all of them.
However that typical logic only applies before the apocalypse. In this day and age, as long as they have a strong weapon and a tremendous amount of energy which could cause a ripple of pressure in the atmosphere around them, such a thing would serve as a barrier which would prevent them from being caved i. But such an idea is crazy and suicidal.
Due to that no one had ever done such a thing or experimented of actually doing it. But at this time and moment, one of them wasn't sane enough to think through such logic. There is a reason why Jinwoo is part of the polar dormitory rather than the other groups.
On the days before Jinwoo became a veteran professional and joined the polar dormitory, the polar dormitory itself is rumored to be a place which quirky but talented people gather. During those times Ryuuji was the only remaining member of that particular dormitory together with his supporter jessica
Ryuuji's quirk is that he is arrogant and rich person despite having talent in field work activities which has high risk of death. Jessica on the other hand is a materialistic person who loves to spend her money on luxurious stuff that she barely even use, despite that when it comes to work, she is as reliable as she can be.. As for Sanaguchi the monitor of the group, he is the only person who was close with the head chief Oliver, the person who is hard to get together with. Basically Sanaguchi has connections from all over the place because of his slyness.. Lastly for Ai she is somewhat eccentric on her own mean that cant be explained.
With such a place full of quirky people, one would even wonder why Jinwoo was among them.
The reason why Jinwoo was among such group of people, is all because of his own quirk that he had in the past. Before joining the polar dormitory, Jinwoo is rumored to be an obsessed, crazy, suicidal person due to his tendencies of actually enacting some stunts just to finish his mission. Because of that there are few people among the organization that were able to understand and follow through his crazy action stunts.
Once he got put into the polar dormitory, he found quirkier people than himself, which totally made him look normal. However through his new companions he learn how to self control his own quirk and somewhat look decent and reliable enough for any newcomer in the organization.
Such quirk has been suppressed for quite awhile now up until this moment. However being logical in this situation was not an option. Every passing seconds, lessen percentage of survival for any ordinary individual n the surface. In order to reach the people in need of help, he would need to punch through the earth on the ceiling above him.
Naturally some people realized Jinwoo intent the moment he took out his staff. So without any hitch they quickly gathered around him as they urged the other to do the same. After all at this point everything that was above them would come crushing down towards them like an avalanche.
The moment every person in the passageway got near him, Jinwoo raised his aura to its maximum potential which literally caused continuous shockwave to vibrate in the passageway and air to suddenly go rampage. After awhile of raising his aura, Jinwoo held his staff upwards pointing to the ceiling as he inserted his own energy unto his staff and activated one of its unique trait , which was to expand its size and length at the will of its owner.
With one intent the staff grew up and thick to the sky as it literally destroyed the ceiling in a single force and started pushing its way up along the earths crust. The longer Jinwoo inserted his energy unto the staff, the more the staff grew. Alongside it the whole earth above them came falling down on top of their head, as Jinwoo rampaging aura literally pushed away the earth that is falling above his head.
Despite that his aura alone cannot protect everyone fully, so as if connected with one mind, the other users begun using their own aura as they raised it higher in order to help Jinwoo and lighten his load of protecting everyone. Not long after a long staff or rod pierced through the ground as Jinwoo literally made a path for them upwards, before he revert the staff into its original size.
Using such huge hole, Jinwoo and the rest climb upwards in order to fully assist the citizens from escaping the incoming threat.
Meanwhile located near the central gate area of the city, Kanzaki and Alice is currently face to face with a member of the terrorist group who had sensed their presence and guessed their intent.
Blocking the way towards the terrorist groups leader, Sekai, Kentaro the only Japanese member of the terrorist group, then blocked Kanzaki's path with an intent to take down anyone who dares to oppose their side.
