Chapter 150 - Chapter 150: [Operation Spearhead XII (Komsomol'skana Amure)]

[...]

In the next morning at the rise of dawn, the whole group then finally left the town of Amursk as they headed out towards further north  at the city of Komsomol'skana Amure, one of the known city located in Russia.

Even though the whole group didn't manage to get even a whiff out of the location of the terrorist group, they were still assured that the other groups spread-out all over the Russia would manage to get something out of their search. After all no matter how notorious the terrorist group are, they were still humans who needed human resources and human commodities.

As long as the terrorist group still had a bit of humanity in them, they would be eventually found out due to their traces left behind. Their enemy is just some overpowered terrorist group not some highly classified spy or agent. Since they are not the latter, such terrorist group would not be that good or professional in erasing their tracks.

Once they found the terrorist group, their mission would naturally be over and immediately pulled away from the location as they let the other combatant groups take over. However till now they still had no idea who are the people involved in the Main unit, Reinforcement unit, and the clean-up unit, this is most likely done in order to avoid information about the operation to be spill out in case of being captured.

For a matter of fact having the operation leak out isn't that grave as one might think, after all the moment the terrorist group had their hands on the child who wield an immense power over life and death, was the moment they knew that they will have the whole organization as a force up hunting their ass. Such a treatment isn't that excessive, since both the organization and the terrorist group have been at each other's throat for about 3 years now.

For their guesses, Commanding officer Zhang was somehow sure that they would be able to find the tracks of the terrorist's group once they reached the city of Komsomol'skana Amure. The distance between the city of Komsomol'skana Amure to the town of Amursk isn't that far, for a matter of fact as long as they're travel isn't hindered, they would be able to reach the city by nightfall.

While they were still inside their armored vehicle and were currently on the road, Commanding officer Zhang relayed their current findings to the whole group.

"To make it short... We still have no lead whatsoever on the terrorist group, well that isn't surprising since this part of Russia is in the frontier, nevertheless I'm glad we made sure of the situation by investigating the frontier itself"

"But isn't that kind of a bummer? I mean we are here ready for a smack down, but the only thing that we confronted are chaos beast... no sign of the terrorist nor any sign of any higher variety of a chaos being" complained by Richard

"Well we can call ourselves lucky" commented Yuti

"Lucky? How so?" asks Richard

In that moment Commanding officer Zhang answered.

"We should be grateful that we haven't encountered any of those along the way, after all based on the data I received regarding the terrorist group, I'm confident to say that we are outmatched by a level or two... if our two groups clashed against each other, then we would naturally be wiped out... if i say wiped out, that means we would all die"

"... That's how strong they are? personally? but aren't they the same to us?"

"Yes! they were once the same to us, unfortunately they went beyond what you would call normal human capabilities... something akin to drugs or experimentation, mutation, or what not of evolution. All i can say is that they've grown stronger in an illegal scientific way... so in comparison to you who grow stronger in a normal speed of gaining experience, they on the other hand had totally went beyond what's tolerable... I'm pretty sure Kanzaki back there knows what I'm talking about right?" said by  Commanding officer Zhang as he divert the attention towards Kanzaki

"Its true! I've witnessed it firsthand against Undead in the Philippines... When he fought against me and Ryuuji a well known field agent of the organization, he somehow grew stronger by injecting himself by some kind of a drug derived from Claire's ability... even though we defeated him, that was the case of a drug being injected to him for the first time without having his body get used to such power"

"He's already that strong without getting used to it"

"Yes! I believe that if a human body ever gets used to Claire's power, I'm sure they would even get stronger than what was currently displayed back in  the Philippines... Plus that drug used was a prototype, it was never a finished product... if they ever created a finished product of it derived from the prototype, I'm pretty sure that is something we couldn't afford to fight even if we get our genetic unlocked and breaking our limits"

At that moment something completely different caught everyone's attention including Commanding officer Zhang, naturally such slang was new to their ears, nevertheless this something new naturally caught their attention.

"Hold up! what did you say?" asks Farid

"Limits?" answered Kanzaki in a questioning manner

"No before that" said Farid

"Breaking our limits" answered Kanzaki

"No! back it up even more" said Yuti as she also grew curious

"Genetic unlocked" replied Kanzaki

"Yes! that one! that's the first time I've heard of it, what's that" asks Richard

"Oh! I see... now I know why you guys got curious of the new slang... well originally it is called genetic lock"

Upon hearing that everyone then muttered that very word called genetic lock as they grew curious on what it can do.

"Genetic lock... sound like something important... what is it?" asks Yuti

With that Kanzaki then thought up for a bit as he finds a way on how to answer it, after all he only experience it once back in the Philippines. Something new isn't that easy to describe, even Ryuuji the strongest in the dormitory also couldn't describe such feeling. After all Genetic lock is something connected to the threshold of humanity as a whole itself

After a few moments of thinking, Kanzaki then answered.

"Have you guys ever thought what would happen if 100% of the human brain is fully used at the same time in a specific moment?"
