[Choas Breaker Sub-Headquarters, Grandora City]
As all eyes turned towards the screen while Head Chief Oliver explained the operation in details, Kanzaki and the rest on the other hand looked at each other with gaze filled with worry as they realized that they once again got caught up into something big.
"For some reason I feel like all our assignments yet are high risk, death gratifying job" complained Alice
"Can't we just get an ordinary assignment for once? Like you know patrolling the streets" added Kanzaki
"I feel like one of these days, such jobs would literally kill us..." finalized Isabelle
Upon seeing such reaction from them in comparison to every people in the room who seemed serious for this assignment, Richard and his crew then couldn't help but react wryly at them.
"You guys... you've gone through some shit haven't you?" Asks Richard
"Is your situation that bad?" Asks Mike
"... so tiresome..." commented Markwin
Hearing their remarks, Kanzaki together with Alice and Isabelle then replied back with an expression as if they had enough.
"You have no idea" answered Alice
"Really bad! Really really bad!" Added Kanzaki
"... you said it! Do you know just how stressful is for me just to keep these two alive? Checking their vitals, searching for the target, calculating circumstances, and even circulating messages... so hard" complained Isabelle
With that Richard and his group couldn't help but just smile wryly as they somehow imagined their scenario, of course while this was happening Head Chief Oliver is already explaining the assignment.
"For this huge operation which would consist of at least hundred of users involved due to the cooperation of various branches and country leaders, the operation would then be consisting of four separate groups... Spearhead, Main, Reinforcement, and clean-up... One could even categorize this as respective Team A,B,C, and D "
"The spearhead group are people who are assigned to search the location of the target from the target location specified and given by the higher-ups above, of course despite its mission to simply search for their target, the risk of dying on such a mission is still high due to the fact that we are dealing with a group of terrorist rather than monsters... since the enemy force is a terrorist, they would then try to the best of their power to either shake off their pursuers or eliminate them, thus such high-risk"
"The main group are people who are assigned to directly battle against the terrorist group after the spearhead group confirmed the location of the target still high risk of death is involved since its a battle"
"Reinforcement group on the other hand is what its name suggest, in case the main group is in need of further help from us, the reinforcement group is there on stand-by... still a high risk death"
"Lastly the clean-up group, such group are people who are assigned to clean-up the aftermath in case the main group and reinforcement group have fallen... still a high risk of death job"
"With the groups laid out, you guys are assigned as the spearhead group, the group which will firstly tackle the force of the terrorist group and find the location of the target"
When everyone heard the assigned group they were in, everyone in the room except Kanzaki and his group were then alarmed and in a uproar as they couldn't believe that they will be the first group to engage the terrorist group like a meat shield. After all compared to the other group that will come after them, their group has the highest percentage of death rate for the operation.
Upon realizing that fact, numerous complains then came out from the crowd as they somehow couldn't accept being in this group.
"Are you kidding us? do you guys wanted us dead? we are people who had just recently joined the organization, none of us here are people who had experience for more than one year! This is impossible"
"You've got to be kidding right? We can't handle that"
"I've heard and have read the news coming from London, this terrorist group are the perpetrators of that incident right? if they can literally destroy those experienced user in London, just what made you think that we would even stand a chance?"
Hearing their complaints, Head Chief Oliver then answered back
"Your mission is simply to find the target, after that assignment is complete you then can decided whether to run or fight the terrorist group... we will never force you to fight if you don't want to"
"!!!"
"Plus you people are picked for this team because the organization perceive your achievements and ability compatible for such role, that means the organization had high expectations for all the people in this room... However if you deny such claim, then i would not stop you from exiting the door... no one would even hinder you from running away, just remember that once you did such thing, the origination would never look at you the same way they did" added Head Chief Oliver
In that moment, some of the people who plans to exit the room then hesitated as they weight the prospects of such decision. After all no matter what they choose, their future would then be literally affected in the process.
Upon seeing some hesitation in their movements, Head Chief Oliver then planned to put on some weight ion his words as he directed his gaze towards Kanzaki and his group, after all their achievements that they had accomplished in this short amount of time was something out of his expectations, thus he plans to rope their decision in.
"Worry not! some of you guys already had experience on such mission right? Kanzaki and his group?"
Hearing his name from Head Chief Oliver's mouth, all eyes then suddenly got directed to his direction causing him to be startled by such a scenery, nevertheless he still answered.
"Pretty much!"
"So what do you have to say?" asks Head Chief Oliver
"None at all, I'm just tired after the continuous chains of huge battle after a huge battle... I've just gone numb" answered Kanzaki
Not expecting such an answer, Head Chief Oliver then gave a few rough coughs before strengthening the resolve of everyone in the room, before dismissing the people inside to prepare for the execution of the operation the next day.
