The calm autumn morning met my face as I walked down my driveway and opened my mailbox expectantly and was met with a cream colored envelope. A smile crept up my face as I walked back towards my house, I walked in and sat down on my over stuffed armchair. I opened my letter and read,
'My dearest friend,
As you know, I have taken a new job as a head researcher in a hard to find and impossible to research company. Altho I am a member of their staff I have yet to been told the name or main purpose of said company. You were the one to tell me to accept this job, you have always been the brave one in our relationship but, I fear that by following your advice I may have been put in a potentially dangerous situation.
I will write to you again,

I frown reaches onto my face and I make a cup of coffee for myself. As I drink I let the letter sink in, I head back upstairs and enter my study the cup of coffee still held in my hands. I sit down and begin to write a letter of my own,
'My greatest friend,
I am saddened by the news that I have received, when you told me of the position I was not aware of the strange arrangements. I apologize for not researching the job before imploring you to take it.

As I finish the short letter I take out a lilac envelope and place the letter inside. I seal and address the letter, I drink the rest of my coffee and make my way once again to the mailbox.
