Crash! The heavy blow from the Warhapri sends Anton flying back and into the tress, hitting his head against the tree he falls to the ground barely capable of getting up, his vision blurry and his body weak. The hardening of his fists comes undone and he is left completely defenseless, solely on the mercy of the Warhapri.
Heavy footsteps of the Warhapri are approaching, with its claws and arm stretched out, he is scratching the surface of trees in his path as he is drawing closer and closer towards Anton.
"You don't t-t-think you can win, d-do you?" - Said the beast
"You humans a-are weak, p-p-pathetic and vile, it is your g-g-god that did t-this to us! He cursed our holy s-s-spirit! T-turning us into these c-creatures!" - Said the Warhapri, snarling with his wolf like mouth.
"Blame... your own God... for abandoning you" - Replied Anton, trying to catch his breath.
The Warhapri enraged by Antons comment lunges at him with a powerful swing. Barely capable of dodging, Anton rolls out the way of the beast. But a sudden second strike flies towards Anton managing to hit him, sending him backwards from the force, once more in a dazed state.
"Crap, in this state I won't be able to fight back" - Said Anton while trying to recover from the strike.
"Pathetic human" - Said the Warhapri, approaching Anton for antoher strike. This was the moment that Anton had started to realise that if he did not come up with a good tactic he would not win and will die, he started thinking about different strategies to win against the beast but with his current state he could not focus, and before long another powerful strike is moving towards Anton who is barely capable of putting up a guard to protect himself.
A loud bang can be heard as Anton is once again thrown through the forest. It is chaos, having no time to recover Anton decides that thinking is useless in this situation and decides to put his remaining strength into blocking and dodging the attacks of the Warhapri.
Standing on his own proves to be difficult for him and the only thing he could do is to lean against the nearest tree.
"You f-foolish human, you s-s-step foot into m-my forest, you dare kill m-m-my pack and you expect to s-survive!" - The Warhapri proclaimed angrily. It begins to lift up its arm once more making Anton get into position to dodge the strike, but instead the Warhapri starts to chant in its language and a ball of fire begins to build up on the tip of it's finger.
" Learn our pain" - The Warhapri shoots the fireball towards Anton who is unable to use his magic to block the attack and dodging would prove useless as the radius of the attack would hit him either way so the only solution to protect himself was to hide behind a tree or a rock.
Anton moves behind the tree he was leaning against and crouches down, but as he thought it was not enough and the sheer power of the spell blew away the tree and Anton with it.
The beast lowers its arm, exhausted from the spell he is panting furiously. "Now... Y-y-you know our... Pain." The beast starts to walk, the powerful gusts of wind start to calm down and the heavy rainfall begins to disappear, but the Beast stops in its tracks and turns to face the direction of where Anton was defeated, the debries of trees, dirt and rocks left from the powerful magical attack begins to shuffle and fall apart, and from it emerges Anton, still hurt from the attack.
He is in pain and still can't properly see, but being buried in rubble gave him enough time to catch his breath and focus on recovering his ability to fight. "Don't walk away from a fight without making sure your opponent is dead" Said Anton as to infuriate the Beast.
It lunges towards him once more with erratic movements trying to land a hit, but the easily angered Warhapri is not thinking, making its movements predictable and easy to dodge for Anton. Each strike coming from above or below or from the sides, each time Anton manages to dodge his attacks, the beast shocked from Antons ability to dodge him says "H-how?! Why c-can't I hit you?!" it was simple, Anton due to his unique ability, was given a keen sense of smell, he is able to see even with his eyes closed, it's as if everything gives of a unique smell, trees, water, bricks, animals, humans, all of it, even emotions. So when the gust of wind that was interfering with his sense of smell was gone, he was finally able to react to the Warhapri movements even with his cloudy vision.
But Anton still weak and in pain could not keep dodging the Warhapri's attacks forever, so he needed to finish this fight as soon as possible, he began to focus more and more on the Warhapri's movements, analysing and searching for a weak point, a single moment where he could unleash a final strike and kill his enemy.
And so the moment came, the hand of the beast flew right past the left side of Anton face, leaving the creatures scowl open for a counter attack. "This is it!" thought Anton; not wasting a single moment Anton concentrates the remainder of his magic into his right fist, it turns Steel Black once more with a blue flame forming around his fist, he sends his blazing fist towards the Warhapri's face in an uppercut. In that one fluid motion he lands a devastating attack on the creatures face which cracks the skull of the beast and burns the side of its face. The creature drops to the ground, laying there in agony, the blood starts to spill from its ears, eyes, nose and mouth, there is no question about it, the Warhapri is dead.
