Delaney POV
"Now shift," the rogue commanded. I had no choice. I quickly Shifted under his control, destroying yet another outfit of Amalies. I'm going to kill him!
I can hear howls in the background, but I could no longer hear where they were coming from. This gave me anxiety and I needed to correct it. Everything was black, all except for Amalie.
I completely immobilized Rune by creating a sort of tunnel vision. My emotions we're overriding. Every werewolf knew not to let your emotions take control when you shift. Your wolf can go all Cujo and become completely insane but still knowing all of this my eyes just couldn't pull away as Amalie withered back to her human form. Blood pooled out from her wounds. Tears streamed out of my eyes now completely blurring my vision. This mother fucker. Rune was starting to match my anger becoming uncontrollably irate.
We let an ear-shattering howl out. I still feel Runes' body walking towards the rogue but I was painstakingly fighting it and my pain was Runes pain. She could feel me fighting the Rogues command and she fought even harder. Rune stomped her feet down and bent her front legs in the best attempt to stay stationary. Still fighting I can hear Rune call for out for help..but not for us. I could feel my head thrown back as hundreds of psyches linked with ours. And just like how an alpha commands a single pack we commanded a fleet.
Rune barked orders and every pack doctor inside the abandoned city from every pack rushed forward. There must have been over a hundred or so. And they were all willing to obey our command. "Rune, your power is incredible."
"No hun, our power!"
I took a deep breath and calmed down. We ordered them to attend Amalie and there were no objections. I can feel Rune relaxing now too. Now that Amalie was takin care of, where the fuck did that rogue go. My tunnel vision subtly disappeared and I could see the Rogues leader was locked in battle with an angry Kodiak. How dare Luca get involved. that asshole is MINE!
Kodiak looked large compared to the lean muscular Rogue. But the Rogue leader was ruthless. A natural killer. When the rogue struck Luca it was only at vital areas. Luca avoided every blow but wasn't able to get not even one shot in. It looked like Luca was barely keeping up. Dutch's men charged forward to attack me while Dutch was distracted but was interrupted by Ronan as he hit back hard. By now Ronan's pack had been called and they were joining in on the battle. I can tell the other packs were starting to get restless and itching to join the fight. I knew I was about to watch a blood bath but I wouldn't stand for it.
Rune and I straightened up to give out our next order to the packs. I refuse to watch as my packs fight amongst each other. Dutch is mine. No one else needs to be involved. I open my mouth and immediately the room was filled with silence but it wasn't for my honor. I looked in the direction as the packs and I became just as silent. The authority had just appeared. This was highly rare. Every single wolf even the Queen and king answers the authority. The packs tensed up. Kodiak and Dutch stopped their fight and Dutch the 'killer' Cain became sheet white. The Authority is the law when it came to a werewolf.
When the authority shows up whole packs become wiped out, killer rogues vanish and trouble ceases. Not one wolf can compete against the raw power the authority holds. Every member of the authority retains different gifts from the moon, making them the most powerful werewolves in existence. They have kept order in werewolf existence for centuries and earned respect...and fear. They have dismantled thrones and cultivated peace. The authority is known to own mercenaries that have assassinated the most feared and wanted of our kind. What in the hell were they here?
Dutch was now past sheet white and currently resembled an unhealthy paste color. He looked from the authority and then stared at Lucas wolf intensely and linked with him, "what's your wolf's name boy?"
"Kodiak." smirked a wolf resembling a psycho straight from a villain movie. "Now it's my turn," Kodiak Laughed as he wiped a bit of blood from his lip with his tongue. Kodiak broke the link between him and Dutch's wolf and took an attack formation.
Dutch gasped, he had heard of this kid before and became fearful of his opponent for the first time. Kodiak gave his owner an ability to mimic an action effortlessly. This wolf power was rumored to have existed long ago and to have since disappeared making the ability to be mythical. An old wise tale if you will. It was a shock to all werewolves to hear that a kid from a pack called Black claw, possessed such powers in this time era. Of course, the authority got to the kid first and the kid disappeared for years. The large black wolf with black demon eyes across from Dutch was a true assassin of the Authority. A stone-cold killing machine. And that killing machine just watched him murder one of his pack members and control his mate for ill intent. Luca's wolf had gone mad.
