Rune growled maliciously. "He lies!"
"Clearly," I said calmly trying to soothe her outrage. "I feel nothing for this boy at all. But wasn't this what made the match perfect? He already lied to me and now all love that could have been was tarnished. Now all he is to me is a pretty face. It would be easy to exterminate him when the time came. "Remember Rune, we need a blue blood pack member to mate with and here he is."
"This is really what you want, right?" she inquired. I can tell she was waiting for an answer that I couldn't give her.

It wasn't difficult to see how kids around us reacted to our conversation. I assume it's because most of them are humans and the words mate were being discussed.
I try to lighten the conversation but the instructor called us to attention and class became filled with busy work.
But I couldn't concentrate. I can feel Rune in complete anguish now. I was repressing her pain all day but I couldn't do it anymore.

I try to walk off but I don't get far at all, only just down the hall before someone pulled me into a deserted classroom. "Girl this is your first day and you have more drama than the drama class."
I looked at the stranger. She was an odd girl. But her style was extraordinary. She looked exotic and gave you a pleasant feeling just being around her.
"My name is Amelie by the way!" She gave me a warm smile and I instantly felt like I could trust her even though she was definitely a wolf from my true mate's pack. I instantly ask her his name. I just have to, I almost need to know.
His name is Lucas Black but he goes by Luca.
I felt relief and I could hear Rune howling with joy. I could focus now, "What drama did I already create by the way?" I ask?
"Only the biggest! Honey, you just broke up the most famous arranged couple of Cedar High!" Ronan has been arranged to marry Bella since before they were born. Anyway, you're probably about to die!" She let about excitingly.
I can't help but to laugh. "Honestly, it serves that girl right. She and her friends almost killed me!"
She smiled, "Yeah, that whole pack has some screws loose. But what are you going to do about Bella?"
"I'm not really sure.... I replied honestly. I really didn't know. I really didn't care either way. That bitch is dead all ready. she just doesn't know it yet.
