Dionysus explained why he came to ask Hades for assistance, "Okay Hades, to make this story as short as possible, a mortal wished for the power to turn everything he touches into gold, but now that mortal wants this power to be revoked and I am not able do it. Also this mortal somehow turned his loved ones into golden statues as well, and wants them to be brought back to life."
Hades glanced upon Dionysus with a hint of bewilderment, "Dio,, my bestie, buddy, you are aware that by granting that Midas a wish, you essentially made him a Demi-god, right?"
Hades breathed melodramatically and continued, "Only Kronos(the father of Zeus) was able to revoke the godly power Demi-gods wield and as you know we offed him together, so that humanity can live in peace and doesn't need to fear Kronos from taking his army of titans to decimating all of humanity, just because he had a small conflict with some dictator, I believe Julius Caesar, was his name, at least that was his name before his own followers killed him, to try and appease Kronos. That Caesar is now, just a nobody that died because of the consequences, of having a conflict with a tyrannical god."
This information was new to Dionysus, so he continued to pry for information, "If I grant a human a wish and make him a Demi-God through that action, will he also have a Demi-God constitution, not needing to eat, being unaffected by the mortal world and being able to cultivate their body to a godlike level?"
Hades smiled weirdly and answered after contemplating, "Yes and no"
Dionysus bellowed, "What do you mean, 'yes and no', be concise with your damn words! Why do you keep talking around the questions I ask, if you don't know, don't give me that vague crap!"
Hades said mockingly, "What's with that attitude, if you want information from me, the least that should happen, would be you being nice while asking. Act like that again and I won't answer your questions. Sheesh, all that partying did indeed affect your brain and diminished many of your braincells"
Dionysus fumed, but calmed himself down after hearing the second part of Hades's sentence, "Pardon, I am at fault here. Could you now please explain if Midas now has the Demi-God constitution?"
Hades answered in a professional manner, "He doesn't have a Demi-God body, because his soul is in the process of changing from a mortal state to a Demi state. He will only gain his Demi status once his soul awakens which will approximately happen, 5000 years after that wish. So the Midas now, doesn't have a Demi-God body/soul, but the ones after 5000 years will. In 5000 years he will be able to cultivate his body to a godlike status, he won't need to eat and he also won't be affected by the mortal world!"
Dionysus gasped in shock, as this was the first time he has ever heard of him being able to grant humans a Demi-god Body. Dionysus also had also looked somewhat happy hearing that the reincarnations of Midas will become Demi's.
Hades then smiled like a foolish sunshine boy after seeing Dionysus's behavior, he asked, "Dio, my old buddy, pal, why are you so concerned about that human, this is the first time I've seen you so behaved, since your birth."
Dionysus answered, without contemplating much about the matter, "I see a lot of my younger self in him, he has an unbridled spirit and even dares to lash out against a god. But he also throws all of his dignity out of the window, just to pray for me helping his Kids coming back to life."
Hades said with some interest in his voice, "Truly a strange fellow, if what you say is the truth, he does resemble your younger self somewhat."
Dionysus said, "Yeah, after listening to you, I don't want to revoke that wish anymore, not that I could anyways. Changing his wish to one that is more beneficial to Midas, is what I need your help with"
Hades said, "I think that won't be necessary"
Dionysus asked confused, "Why? Do you want to go back on the contract, we have?"
Hades asked a question in return, instead of answering, "How long have we been talking, Dio?"
Dionysus said, "For half an hour, I'm not sure why you are asking though, answer my question first, why won't you help me in adjusting Midas's wish?"
Hades continued ignoring Dionysus bickering, "Dio, do you know the ratio of time one hour in hell, equals to the outside world?"
Dionysus answered manner of factly, " Do you think that I am stupid, it is 100 years in the outside world, per hour inside of here. Sometimes I think you are just messin-"
Mid sentence Dionysus gasped in terror, "He is dead isn't he?"
Hades replied, "Yep, he got into hell 29 minutes ago. But I just got the message of a growing Demi-Gods being in hell, whose name was supposed to be Midas, seems like my ghouls are slacking of quite a bit, I need to give them some hellish training to make them more obedient again."
Dionysus spoke in an aggrieved tone, "How am I to keep my word now, if he can't even witness-seeing his kids coming back to life."
Dionysus brainstormed for a few seconds and instantly found an answer to his current distress, "Hades just bring Midas and his family back to life"
Hades sighed, "No can do Dio, Zeus said I shan't bring back Demi's from their grave and am to let them go through the normal reincarnation cycle, at most I can bring his family back from their graves."
Hades lamented, "After Poseidon's failed revolution, Zeus became kind of paranoid, of something like that happening again, so in case Demi's want to try the same, they at least need to go through the process of being reincarnated and losing their memories again and again, till they someday become gods, and when that happens those Demi's will be someone entirely different from what they started out as."
After a minute of silence, which was meant as an indirect form of paying their respect to Poseidon's try of overturning the current monarchy, Dionysus said, "Could you at least tell me how that fellow died, the last time I researched human's had a lifespan of 90 years, he should've only been 45 at most, if he really died, after I was 1 minute in hell."
Hades said, "That's an easy question, that Midas, somehow died of starvation. Pretty weird as he is a King, a wealthy one on top too."
Dionysus thought and said with a sad tone, "I think the reason for him starving, may be because of his ability, everything he touches, turns into gold after all, how is he to eat then?"
Hades rebutted gravely, "Nope, from his records of life, he just sat still for 3 days, not moving an inch, till he inevitably died of starvation, he didn't even try to eat anything"
Dionysus recalled what Midas said, "That mad-lad meant that seriously, I thought he said that symbolically"
Hades became intrigued and asked, "What did he say?"
Dionysus explained, "Midas said, that he won't move from his spot, until he sees his Kids turning back to flesh"
Hades smiled weirdly, "He does resemble you a lot... nearly scary, how much that action resembled your younger self"
