"Huh? Where am I?"
Christian wondered as he looked around the unfamiliar yet familiar room he was in. There were at least 27 people here from what he counted. Some of them looked very familiarly but he can't tell if he ever met them.
"Psst! Christian!"
Christian turned to see who called him and found a young man waving at him with glee.
"Why are you staring blankly?" The young man waved his hands in front of Christian's face trying to catch his attention.
"Jace?" Christian asked in doubt.
"Ha? What is this? Did summer made you forget about your most handsome friend?" Jace joked.
Christian was so shocked to see him. He was Jace, "Jason Novam" his real name. His best friend since they were in high school! Even up until they grew up and had jobs. They still kept communication between the two of them. But they were 29 years old this year but the Jace he was looking at now looked like he was back on his teenage years.
Wait…
Slowly Christian begun to realise something. The unfamiliar yet familiar room. People who he can somewhat recognise. Then Jace who looked very young. Don't tell me…
When Christian saw the clothes that Jace wore and the other people in the room. It all finally cleared up.
I'm back in high school!
Just then the door opened up and a young man carrying books stood at the front.
Seeing him came in everyone stood up and greeted all at the same time.
"Good Morning, Sir Archie!" Everybody said in unison including Christian who also did it out of habit.
"Alright sit down" Archie signalled for everyone to sit.
"Uhm, please sit down," Archie said one again to get the attention of Christian who was still standing to stare into space, all caught up in the moment
"Ah! Sorry" Christian sat quickly in embarrassment.
"Haha" Everyone laughed.
Archie then turned to look at everyone in the room and introduced himself. "I am Archie Mago, your homeroom teacher!"
Everyone seemed happy to have him as their homeroom teacher as they rejoiced.
Christian knew why. After all Sir Archie was one of the best teachers at school. He is also very kind and very friendly to students. One would be able to laugh and treat him like a friend. Aside from that Christian knew other things more because back in high school he already experienced being his student.
Now for sure Christian realised that he has gone back to the past. He was once again a high school student!
"Ah, Love is like a rosary full of mysteries!" One of Christian's classmate named Xander said to the class after introducing himself.
"So cheesy!"
Christian felt nostalgic upon seeing this scene and almost teared up. Remembering how each of them would answer the question "What is love for you?" after introducing themselves. And also seeing them all together again.
Just then it was Jace's turn to answer. He stood up from his seat and turned to look up at everyone.
"I am Jason Novak and also the most handsome here in this class." Jace narcissistically joked which made every one booed in disgust. Then before coughing as he continued, "Love is what makes me hard!"
"Hahaha!"
"Huh? What?"
All of the boys could understand what he meant and all laughed while the girls were confused and were unable to get it. It was only then they understood when one of the boys whispered what it truly meant.
"Does love really make you hard? Or is it the people doing " love that makes you do so" Sir Archie also joked. The boys got it and laughed. This is one of Sir Archie's characteristics that made everyone like him. He would ride along with your jokes so everyone was quite close to him. But that's also what made other teachers jealous of him.
"Next"
Then it was Christian's turn to introduce himself as he was just sitting right next to Jace.
"I'm Christian Foster and Love for me is…" Christian paused before pointing at a girl.
"Aiyeee…." Everyone erupted into a frenzied mode as they teased Christian.
Most were shocked and surprised. They were all asking the same question "Since when did you get so brave? Idol!".
Of course, if it was the old or the Christian before then he wouldn't have the guts to confess like that and possibly not ever. Even after growing up he never did confess which he regretted so bad so Christian at least wanted to confess now until he had the chance.
Selene, the girl that he had a crush had her head down. Nobody knew what she was feeling as they were unable to see her face. But some close friends of her who was sitting near her have already started to gossip with each other
Well, It isn't as embarrassing as I thought. Christian said to himself as he sat down.
Jace nudged Christian as he whispered into his hears.
"Since when did you find the balls to confess?"
"Finally had the courage to tell it face to face. Unlike you who only confessed through messenger. Hahaha," Christian mocked Jace who was already silent and acting like a good boy. Seemingly to have heard nothing and kept a calm face.
Students introduced themselves one after another until the whole class was finished. Then it was Mr Arhcie's turn.
"Ahem…Once again, I am Archie Mago from the House of Mago. A mage graduated in this very academy. Once a student here and now your homeroom teacher!"
"Sir! What is love for you!"
"Magic is love for me. It is my life and love."
"Ma'am Joyce would be saddened if she were to hear that, Sir."
"Eh? How did you know?!"
The class was in a heated discussion ass they asked questions about Sir Archie's personal life. Meanwhile, Christian was dazed on his seat.
What is this talk of magic?
A mage graduate? Not a teacher?!
And it seems that everybody else doesn't find this weird. They also didn't seem to have taken it as a joke. Don't tell me that they are taking this very seriously. What the heck!
Christian observed each and every one of his classmate's face. Almost all deeply focused on this question and answer segment aside from those who were dozing off on their tables.
"Okay, that's enough for now. From this time onwards you will be meeting your other teachers. And I do hope that all of you would show this much enthusiasm with each of them."
"But Sir you still haven't told us about how you met Miss Joyce!"
"Haha, maybe later."
As Sir Archie left the room the class suddenly became even noisier. Amidst this buzz, Christian was still thinking by himself as he wondered about these weird things. But not long after he thought of it as nothing. Maybe this was just minor details that he forgot. He can't remember every detail that happened in the past, after all, no matter how much memory it was.
So he just talked with his friend's hat he missed so much. Reliving the memories he had with them back in high school felt very strange.
"So Jace are you still going for Jade?" Christian asked about Jade who Jace was currently pursuing right now. But his confession couldn't be considered successful as their relationship was still the same. Well, Christian didn't really need to ask more. After all, he already knows the future. If things were the same as before then he should have started getting to know Angela.
After a while, the next teacher soon came.
And when Christian saw the next teacher he couldn't help but burst into a laugh.
"Hahaha! What is that!" Christian said as he was laughing so hard to the point that his eyes were a little teary.
"Is that a witch's hat? Happy Halloween in August? April Fools!"
And as he laughed he may have gone a bit too far with his jokes. Finally, the teacher can't hold back herself as she pointed to Christian and glared at him with anger.
"Out to the hall!"
