The people of the sorcerers kingdom were going about their daily life, until A Roman style gate opened up and An army of fantasy type creatures came through the gate and started attacking the citizens.
A squad made of 20 death knights and 50 magic armored knights was quickly dispatched to deal with the army, the opposing army had sent out wyverns but they were shoot out of the sky with a newly designed automatic magic machine gun (automatic blasters from star wars) that melted though their scales as well as killing their riders.
On the ground the death knights were cleaving though the enemy lines and killing people within the thousands those that got killed by them turned into zombies. Further increasing the casualties on the enemy side.
(random enemy soldier POV)
' when we were sent to conquer the land on the other side of the gate I thought that it would have been easy considering how strong the empire is, but now I know how wrong I was '
when they went inside the gate and started the attack, they were not prepared to be attacked by fifty men covered in Strange green armor with brown visors ( Halo's master chief armor) and they most certainly were not prepared to be attacked by undead with towering Shields as big as a man's body! and the worst part was when a man was killed by those monsters they were turned into an undead.
The soldiers were forced to kill people they considered brothers by all but blood, to say that they were afraid was a massive understatement it was like saying that the God Emory was just a little bit crazy! the men were afraid of dying by those monsters and turning into undead, but they knew that they could not back down if they did then no doubt their families would either be killed or forced into slavery and they would not allow that to happen no matter what even if it meant turning into a undead.
eventually in a matter of 10 minutes their army of 250,000 strong was all but killed off, and the soldier's last thought was ' by the gods what have we released upon are world!' and soon the man joined the rest of the men their souls corrupted and turned into death knights after all in the sorcerer kingdom things are not disposed of simply repurposed.
