Axel heard the noise first: rapid gunfire, screaming, yelling and shouting. He felt himself being lifted and rushed off.
'Myriah…' he couldn't hear her. Axel tried to sit up, but found he couldn't move. Heart racing with anxiety, Axel forced himself to sit up with a groan. He found himself laying on the bed of a truck, with an unconscious Myriah next to him. He gently stroked her cheek, until the sounds around him registered. Silver eyes wide, he found his home in flames. A fully transformed Tyler protected a wounded Mika.
"Axel? Axel!" Axels silver eyes slowly found Atoli, "We have to go. Get the others to the rendezvous point…" Axel shook his head and slowly stood up. "What happened…"
"We'll talk about it later, go!" Atoli cried. Axel walked toward the burning home to find Edymond protecting Syrena, "Where are the witch and the sorcerer?" Axel asked.
"You didn't see him?" Edymond replied as he faced Axel. "He got you, the vampiress and the goddess out. He was going for…" their eyes met and widened. "Get the mermaid out. Persuade Tyler to let you take Mika too, we will meet Atoli at the rendezvous point. Let her know.
Edymond nodded, grabbed syrenas hand and ran toward the direction Axel came from.
Axel went to where they kept the stone. His silver eyes widened when he found Kain trying to tame the stones raging magic and Jasmine guarding him.
"You're finally awake."
"What happened?" Jasmine shrugged, "I came to and Kain was trying suppress the magic of the stone and the house was under fire." Axel cursed under his breath. "How long do you need, mortal?" Kain hummed as he tried to contain the magic of the stone.
"Allow me to help." A deep voice intoned.
Axel froze, wide eyed. He didn't sense the powerful presence behind him. Jasmine stood guarded. While Kain took a knee before the golden eyed stranger.
"It is my heart after all." The stranger advanced on them, allowing his aura to flair. His golden eyes latched onto axels silver ones. "You are immune?" Axel didn't dare to speak. He slowly took a knee before the stranger.
"I cannot say.."
He didn't dare look into the strangers eyes… 'Father said: his father saw red pupils before he and his mate went feral- losing himself to the blood lust…'
"Ah it seams you remember me… Vampire…" The standers deep voice rumbled. "Have I wronged you…Āciriyar?" Axel whispered.
The stranger lifted his chin and stepped past Axel. "… as of right now, vampire… you fascinate me." He murmured as he placed a hand on the raging stone, containing the magic as if it was never released. His breath hitched and he ripped his hand away.
"I see she has been in contact with this stone…" The golden eyed man murmured. "The girls magic will activate this stone and bring me straight to her. For this reason, do not allow her to touch it alone." Kain nodded, "Sire."
"You… you are holding Whitman…" axel whispered, making the strangers golden eyes widen. "It is only a matter of time before he navigates his madness and returns. Get the girl out of here before that time." Axel felt the air leave his lungs when he was forced to stare into the strangers golden eyes, "Fascinating indeed…"
He praised as he held Axels gaze, "You consume the darkness from her…"
"I will ensure she survives herself… even if I don't…" Axel promised before he could stop himself. "Foolishly noble. Pure Ones cannot survive without their mate. I find myself wondering if she is the exception…" The stranger murmured in awe, "You are strange indeed, Vampire…" Axel felt anxiety grip his heart yet he couldn't look away from the stranger, "You don't answer truthfully out of compulsion, and you don't yield to my power… fascinating indeed." He eyed the witch and the sorcerer.
"I hope you all find my domain… in your journeys." Axel felt the air return to his lungs as the stranger vanished.
"Let's go!"
Axel grabbed Jasmine and Kain who yelped as he barely managed to wrap the stone into his shirt.
"Where are we going, Axel?"
Jasmine asked as Axel practically dragged them from the burning home.
"You will see, it's time we got the whole of Myriahs story."

Tyler watched Mika and Myriah sleep.
"How long -"
"Mika will wake soon." Atoli murmured, her gaze slowly wondered to Myriah. "The last time Myriah lost control like this, she slept for two months…"
Angelo stormed through the door, anger rolling off of him in waves.
"What happened?!"
Atoli, despite her fear, stood tall infront of Myriah who was starting to stir.
"It seams Myriah has been in contact with the stone. From what Syrena says, she feeds from the stone and gives to it as well-"
"Why was she not supervised?!"
Atoli cried out when Angalos fist went through the door beside him. Tyler became a wall between Atoli and Angalo.
"I don't really know you." Tyler murmured, "And I'm grateful to you for what you've done for me thus far." Tyler stood to Angalos height and matched his glare.
"However, I will ask that you have this conversation when you have better control of your emotions-" Angalo wrapped his hand around Tyler's throat and lifted the boy off of his feet.
"You will not tell me how to act in my home." Anglao snarled as he allowed his fangs to lengthen.
"Angalo-"
"Be silent!" Angalo snapped making Atoli bow her head, Tyler clawed at Anglaos wrist making the elder tighten his hold.
"Release him." Axel snapped. Angalo spun on Axel releasing Tyler as he did.
"Bullying a new born because your little plan isn't going the way you want speaks volumes on your character."
Angalo snarled at Axel who replied by folding his arms across his chest.
"Go cool off. And we will talk." Atoli tried to go to Angalo but he held his hand up to stop her. With a snarl at Axel, Angalo stalked from the room.
"Don't worry, I'll handle him." Axel soothed as he went to help Tyler up. "You're very brave boy." He complimented. "Go and see if the elf or witch can come to heal Mika." Tyler left with a nod.
Axel faced Atoli and let her fall into his arms crying. "I know." He soothed as his silver eyes landed on Myriah who was stirring.
"You can wake up now." Axel murmured as he guided Atoli to a near by chair.
"I know you heard all of that." Silver stared into gold. "It's been a while since I've seen you." Axel greeted. Myriah watched him approach her.
"How is Myriah?"
Myriah tilted her head, "Do you know what I am Vampire?" Axel nodded, "You are the Red Spirit. Created by the Pure ones to protect the People." Myriah nodded, "Do you have a name?" Axel asked, taking her by surprise.
"The purple eyed woman called me Spryiana.."
"Spryiana…" Axel repeated, "It becomes you." He complimented.
