Edymond watched the group leave and he faced the sorcerer who was watching him with guarded eyes.
"Nāṉ yār eṉpatai nīṅkaḷ naṉku aṟintiruppīrkaḷ eṉṟu nāṉ nampukiṟēṉ. (I'm sure you'are well aware of who I am, mortal.)" Edymond moved so he was facing the stair rail, "Mēlum nāṉ etaṟkāka iṅku irukkiṟēṉ. (And what I am here for)."
Kain tilted his head, giving nothing away.
"Nīṅkaḷ yār eṉpatai avarkaḷ tīrmāṉikka evvaḷavu kālam ākum? Nīṅkaḷ vīṭṭiṟkut tirumpi, tēviyai eṉṉiṭam viṭṭuviṭa vēṇṭum. (How long until they deduce who you are? You should return home, and leave the Goddess to me)."
Kain stepped up to the elf who slowly faced him.
"I will do no such thing. I will stay with the girl until she finds Teacher."
Edymond shrugged, "Suit yourself. Kīḻppaṭiyāmaikkāṉa vilaiyai nīṅkaḷ naṉku aṟivīrkaḷ... Araikuṟai.(You're well aware of the price for disobedience…)."
Kain narrowed his eyes as he watched Edymond ascend the stairs.
"Eṉakku ōṭa vēṇṭiya paṇikaḷ uḷḷaṉa. Cūṉiyakkāriyaip pāruṅkaḷ (I have errands to run. Watch the witch)."
Kain glared at the elf's back.
Such arrogance.
"What errands could you have here?"
Edymond tilted his head, "That's is my business."

Sergio, a tall broad man with flaming red hair that was tied in a neat ponytail. He wore a black tunic and some black slacks. His calm demeanor was known throughout his people, though only a few centuries old, he was known to be like ice. Affected by nothing.
Sergio was collecting a book, and fixing to sit in the sitting room where the others would be joining him shortly... when a loud 'CRACK' followed by an even larger tumbling crumble of rubble falling and landing right at his polished loafers.
He tilted his head a counted down from 5.
As the red haired mail said one, the 'THUD' of a body being tossed at his feet sounded and he offered a shake of his head. "I told you not to anger him, Gabriel." Sergio greeted as he flipped the cover of his new book. Gabriel laid sprawled at Sergios feet, he was a pile of a man who was clad in a loose white shirt and black skinny jeans, Sergio scoffed at the young vampires absurd attire; seeing the male crumpled before him, was a suitable punishment that was rewarded with him ignoring the wheezing vampire before him. Sergio remained focused on his book.
'Surely the meeting will be quick...'
Sergios train of thought was cut off when an angel seamed to glide though the improv door way and kneel beside the groaning fool named Gabriel. Her hair was a black mass that resembled an untamed waterfall, "I'm so sorry, I did not think Axel would throw you so hard, here let me help..." Her answer was a groan followed by a sigh of relief. Sergio blinked. Even her voice sounded like music. If he had to guess he would say that this girl resembled warmth. Comfort. His eyes did widen however at the sight of the white aura that surrounded the girl, was she helping Gabriel or healing him?!
"Why I'm healing him of course." The girl murmured as she turned to face Sergio who felt his jaw slack at the rain colored lavender that bore into his own hazel eyes, "Axel told me nothing affects you, Sergio. Yet you look so shocked right now." Sergio angled his body away from the girl in hopes of composing himself.
"Sergio, I am sorry for the damage done to your home. I'm sure Atoli will force Axel to fix it." The girl tilted her head when she was met with silence.
"For a known stick in the mud, you sure are speechless there, old friend." Angalo greeted as he stepped through the rubble in a crisp black suit. The blonde vampire extended his hand to help Atoli over, she wore an elegant Victorian dress that resembled blood on her flawless white skin. Her hair was tied into an elegant bun with curls framing her heart shaped face.
"And yes, the boys will fix your home. They all received a good scolding from me for their cruelty toward one another." Atoli greeted as Sergio stiffly kissed her free hand. Axel was the last to come through, grumbling as he did. When he spotted Gabriel trying to stand, he growled. "For your sake, you had better stay down, boy."
Myriah sighed, "Who is this?" Sergio asked, cutting to the chase. "Come we will discuss it with the others." Angalo ushered Sergio out of the room with Atoli on their heels. Myriah went to help Gabriel up when Axel came between them, "He will catch up." Myriah sighed as Axel pulled her away from the young vampire. "Don't you think you're being needlessly cruel?" Myriah asked. "Hardly. His pathetic life is reward enough." Axel grumbled as he wrapped a possessive arm around Myriahs waist.
Bash, a model of a man, with ocean blue eyes grinned when Angalo and Atoli stepped through the room. He was met with a deep frown. "You know better than to hang up on your elders." Angalo scolded. Bash scratched the back of his head with a nervous chuckle when a slender woman seamed to appear behind him in a form fitting black dress that made her resemble a dark goddess. "I did not mean to cause trouble to you beloved." Her painted red lips morphed into a frown at the sight of Angalos glare that softened when Atoli smacked his arm, "This is Dhalia. My life mate." Myriahs eyes widened and she fell into Axels chest at the sudden intrusion of the new couples love for one another. She wasn't sure what was more amazing, their age difference... or the pure, unyielding love emanating from the couple.
The feeing though light was also unbearably heavy...
"Axel, little brother, I see you've found your mate as well!" Bash greeted, "congratulations!" Myriah looked at Bash for a long moment then her eyes drifted to Axel and the word around her disappeared. "Mate?" The thought, meant for her mind slipped from her lips which caught Axels now onyx eyes. The sight, meant to intimidate another, Intrigued her. She could get lost in that look for days and have no regrets...
"A life partner..." Axel supplied as he tried and failed to fight the allure of her eyes. Surely this girl would be the death of him...
"So I see the newborn survived."

Edymond listened to the beeping monitors.
He gently tapped the nurses shoulder. "Excuse me, ma'am, this is my brother. Can you tell me how he came to be this way?"
The nurses eyes softened at the gentle question.
"He was protecting a little girl."
Edymond offered a warm smile, "Time seams to have escaped me, I was away tending to my family in his stead." The nurse nodded, "can you tell me how long he's been like this?"
"He's been here for almost ten years, sir. I fear he may not return." Edymond nodded and swallowed thickly. "Can- can you give me a moment with him?"
The nurse nodded and left the room.
Edymond faced his white haired counterpart. "I have found you at last."
