"I've not seen you be so openly affectionate in quite a while, brother." Angalo observed as he sat behind his desk while Axel sat across from him, lost in the memory of kissing Myriahs hand…. Lost in the dream of kissing her full lips… the dream of drinking her blood.
'Her skin is like silk.' He recalled the blush on her cheeks and he felt his own cheeks grow warm.
"You are blushing little brother." Angalo sang. Axel scoffed and narrowed his eyes. Trying to forget those lavender eyes.... but his mind had other plans as it took him right back to the lavender eyed vixen.
Her eyes looked darker when she first went to join them in the living room. Opposed to when he left her, her eyes were clear and bright. They were lavender and sparkling with untapped amusement as they were when he first bumped into her.
'Something is eating at her…'
Angalo hid a smile behind his tented fingers as he took a moment to take in his brother.
Axels eyes were light, he wasn't poised as he usually was. Alert, always listening to every little noise their home would make.... no, this time he was sitting back, at ease with his right ankle on his left knee, his left hand resting on the arm of the chair that he sat in and his right was curled beneath his chin.
Silver eyes that usually resemble ice were molten,
'I haven't seen him this relaxed since he was a child.' Angalo would dare to say his eyes were soft...
There was a healthy blush to his cheeks and his eyes were hooded as he was lost in his thoughts, '…likely of the lavender eyed girl named Myriah.'
Axel was never one to lose face. So Angalo, being the mature elder brother that he was decided to tease his younger brother with sighs and kissy noises that fell on deaf ears.
Axel was in a world of his own...
He was captivated by wavy black hair that resembled a dark waterfall. 'I wonder if her hair is as soft as it looks?' His left hand twitched as he recalled how soft her skin was against his lips. 'Would she look like a fallen angel on my bed?'
He wanted to taste more of her... the thought sent a shiver down his spine. 'No…' Over three thousand years old... the need to warm his bed died a long time ago. 'She would resemble a fallen goddess…' The primal urge to dominate and capture one lesser than himself was pure instinct, one he had more than enough time to perfect, as he perfected everything he was taught.
Axels mind drifted to the defiance he saw in Myriahs eyes when he told her to think on joining their movement. It took all he had in him not to pin her beneath him and coax the submission out of her...
The idle fantasy made him wonder: how would Myriah sound in pleasure? What kind of lover would she be? Would she be wild? Demure?
Would her mood determine if she would give or receive pleasure?
Axel was sure he would delight in finding out.
He knew the moment he saw her cheeks turn from a pretty pink to a raging red, that he wanted to be the only one to cause her to blush...
He could see it.... her eyes doused in happiness if not in pleasure. He wanted to hear her sighs for other than contemplation or anxiety...
Axel felt the familiar stirring of his loins, and he silently berated himself. 'Just like the dream…'
He could say that black haired beauty with the lavender eyes cast a spell on him.
'I want her.'
Her body..
Her mind
Her heart...
'I want all of her...'
It was a longing that was dangerous as it was enthralling, Axels breath hitched at the intensity of the feeling as it stole the air from his lungs. The familiar stirring what was nearly a painful twist- he shifted in his chair and sighed to hide the building tension.
'Why doesn't it calm? This feeling?'
Angalo watched his little brother shift again and he chuckled, "I don't think I've seen you this antsy since you were a lad longing to hunt with father and I." Axel narrowed his eyes at his elder brother. He had to give the romantic fool some credit. It did feel similar to the anticipation of the hunt. Only this time Myriah was his prey. And once he claimed her no other would have her.. 'Ive been cursed…'
Axel ran a hand through his hair with a frustrated sigh as the stirring in his lower abdomen wound tighter. 'If not by the gods then by that girl for sure…' His mind was racing toward dangerous thoughts. He needed a distraction...guidance, something… Perhaps his daft brother could be of some use. With that thought, he decided to voice what was on his mind.
"I feel her." He murmured, just above a whisper. Angalos eyes widened a fraction. 'What-'
Axel stood up and started to pace from wall to wall of the small study. "What she feels, what she wants, when she hurts...I feel it all." Axel muttered. "I knew where she was the moment I stepped onto the property. The closer I got, the more of her I could feel..."
"Kain did tell me how she would turn all who touched her to ash." Angalo murmured thoughtfully, "and yet you…"
"And yet I…" they said at the same time, "I picked her up and walked out." Axel murmured. "… that was the first time" his silver eyes found his elder brother, and he let his walls down, "that was the first time I walked in her dream."
Angalo's eyes widened, 'dream walking? That hasn't been heard of since…' Axel continued to speak, gesturing wildly while he described what this woman brought out in him. "I want to revive all who hurt her and torture them slowly..." Axel sighed, "Why am I thinking like this? I don't even know this girl...." Angalo shook his head with a sigh. Axel was normally composed, the only expressions he ever showed were anger and disdain. To see his younger brother now, lost to the grips of infatuation. Frustrated by a slip of a girl.... it was refreshing. It was refreshing as it was vexing to the elder male.
"And… when you look in her eyes..." Angalo started, feeling empathy for his younger brother...and a twinge of fear. Axel shook his head, "I can't describe it..." Axel murmured, "Its too much and it's so addicting." Angalo leaned back into his chair and listened to his younger brother, "I.... when I looked into her eyes for the first time, I felt like I was seeing into her soul."
Angalo felt his jaw slack, 'could it be…'
"I want her, brother." The younger male sighed, "I know it's impossible but I feel like she's becoming my reason to live. Its her, she's everything." Axel huffed a sigh and he shook his head, as if trying to rid himself of the siren that was named Myriah. He had since stopped pacing and bowed his head. "I feel like I need her..." Axel whispered as he put his palms flat onto his brothers desk. "I need her to smile. I need her happiness… I just…" Leaning onto the wooden object for support. For answers, guidance... Angalo's eyes widened. 'My little brother….For the first time in a very long time... Axel was leaning onto his older brother for guidance….' Angalo watched Axel bow his head and lean further into the desk, digging his nails into the dark wood.
"This girl... she's infecting me.... my mind, my body...I've yet to even know her and I..." Axels eyes were wide, helpless, "it gets worse every time." Angalo struggled to hold his brothers gaze, "I want more from her every time I look into her eyes..." Axel bowed his head further, squeezed his eyes shut, his earlier merriment giving way to his growing anxiety, "Why cant I control this, brother?"
