It all started as an obnoxious lie. I don't know why I always end up liking all the scumbags on this earth. Here, I liked a scum bag (usually and unconsciously)named Eric Thompson. I, Katherine Wilson am a nerd, introvert and of course talking to opposite sex is the toughest task for me. God blessed me with his opposite characteristics which made me look like a soldier struggling in the second world war.
We met during the Thompson International School Literature Fest. Yep you readers are right...That's my school and by the name it suggest.....Yes that scum bag is the Chairman's son. Very popular, super sexy but not a playboy and "kind" I thought. Holy jeez I got tricked by his dual personality... He and I were both on duty as volunteers to maintain silence and by this so called destiny I met him for the first time as my partner. I never saw him but only heard about him, you know we introverts are surprisingly secretive. We never talk much about ourselves but hear about others more .....As every school,my school also has this thing called fanclubs or let's be precise an extremely large group of girls fangirling the school hunk . And guess what these girls are fickle, crazy and the beauty diggers who got attracted to him just because of his unique aura and good looks. I overheard them saying that Eric would be volunteering and coincidencely our computer science teacher wrote my name as a volunteer too.
I was astonished by his height and thought that he is a senior and greeted him.I asked him which class was he in and replied in a kind but husky voice...I liked it alot. I sighed "Jeez we are in same batch and thought of you as my senior". He chuckled..the second thing I liked about him was his harmless smile. Although I was an introvert but talking to him was really amazing and always looked forward for his replies. We talked and talked though he was very interested in my words but seemed to be a silent boy....third thing I liked about him. A sudden pause and asked me "What is your dream?" I was perplexed, not knowing what to answer. After a long silence of three minutes and thirty eight seconds I finally spoke out,"I like singing and want to become a singer."
"Cool" he replied, "then shouldn't you sing for me?" I started stuttering as I always do when someone asks me to sing . "I-I-I , now shouldn't you tell me your dream?" He paused and gave me a reply "First you sing then I would consider about telling." Now that was an unexpected answer. In vain was explaining. I sung my favourite song 'Perfect' by Ed Sheeran but as the Nightcore version. I sung the whole song and after a huge pause he replied with a cute smile "You sing well." I showed my thanks with overwhelming happiness. Now here I fell for him and started liking him. The volunteering ended successfully but guess what I FORGOT TO ASK HIS NAME ....DAMN. I ran back to the venue but he left. Though I didn't got to know his name but I was happy as he was the first boy whom I've talked to (except my brother of course) and the first boy who complimented my singing .....
