There was no Jin Di in the car. She frowned and did not ask, although it was strange.
Danil sat next to her and said with a smile, as if he had seen through her worries,
"Mr. Jin just had something to important do at the company and went to handle official business. I will send you to Mr. Jin's other place. He will be back later tonight."
Her face immediately turned red with embarrassment.
Danil just smiled inexplicably.
"Forget it," she said, defeated. "You can think whatever you want of me..."
Both the master and servant were as cunning as foxes.
How was she going to live with Jin Di?
"This is a new agreement that Mr. Jin has drafted. Please take a look at it, Miss," Danil said from beside her.
This time, she calmly flipped open the agreement and read it carefully from beginning to end.
Halfway through, she started to tremble uncontrollably.
"This...this is very different from the one you showed me this afternoon, right?"
The one she'd seen earlier had said that Jin Di would return the little flower shop to her and pay for all of her mother's medical expenses.
But in this new agreement, all the compensation terms had been given a prerequisite.
Only after Zuo Aiai successfully pleased Jin Di would she receive her compensation.
In other words, if Jin Di was unhappy...
Wouldn't she be doing her work for free?
"That's why I said earlier that you were very lucky. You really should have seized that opportunity."
Danil pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose as he said this, feeling as though he could finally be somewhat straightforward with Zuo Aiai.
But Zuo Aiai was not feeling very grateful...she had a new boss who had schemed against her, and this man sitting next to her was the secretary who'd helped him.
How had she gotten herself into this situation?
"However, this new agreement is not without leeway. Although Mr. Jin is temperamental, he is not a mean person. I believe that Miss Zuo's words will definitely make Mr. Jin happy. Mr. Jin is very generous. As long as Miss Zuo does a good job, this is just a drop in the bucket."
She knew that what Danil said was the truth, but she still had a knot in her stomach.
Because it was just now dawning on her that she had sold herself.
Yes, Jin Di was an immensely rich man without an equal in the world.
But it didn't matter who she'd sold herself toโthe fact still remained that she'd done it.
She mentally prepared herself to see other unfair clauses in the agreement as she continued reading.
But when she continued to read, she was surprised.
Because...
Those expected unequal treaties didn't appear.
It even stated that during the duration of the contract, Party A and Party B were not allowed to have any sexual or spiritual partners aside from the other party.
For the duration of the contract, Party B was permitted to disclose the identity of Party A and enjoy the honor that came with that. However, she was not allowed to leak any information about Party A to the media, including photos, phone calls, and other personal information.
This meant that...she would be able to assume the identity of Jin Di's woman from now on if she so pleased. Such a title carried a lot of weight.
As long as he wasn't in the news, she could do whatever she wanted.
"Mr. Jin doesn't like news exposure, but if Miss Zuo does, he doesn't object. Just don't reveal any relevant information about Mr. Jin to the media and you'll be fine."
Danil's words confirmed what she'd understood from reading the contract, and she was shocked by how absolutely fair these terms were.
"Mr. Jin will be absolutely loyal to Miss Zuo during their relationship. As if at any point he isn't, you will receive a very large amount in compensation. The figure is written here," he said, pointing to the contract.
Seeing the sky-high amount, she was speechless. What should she do? She suddenly looked forward to him cheating as soon as possible!
