'Wait! No! Guan Xi's still here!'
Guan Xi actually greeted Master Xiao Jiuyan.
"So this little slut also know Master Xiao's identity? She's already made the first move to seduce him!"
'Little f*cking slut!'
Xia Mei cursed silently.
She moved slightly closer to Guan Xi and said in a low voice, "Guan Xi, you just seduced President Wang and now you're moving on to Master Xiao Jiuyan? Let me give you some advice, don't waste your time. Master Xiao Jiuyan would never be interested with a trash like you."
Guan Xi didn't know what to say.
'This ***** is really insecure, huh? Well, it's not like that's the first time I've heard that.'
'What kind of 'trash' did she actually think she was?'
Normally, Guan Xi would've clapped back with enough heat to singe the woman, but she had bigger problems right now. She had Xiao Jiuyan to deal with.
"Master Jiu, hello, I am Xia Mei," Xia Mei began.
Xia Mei bravely walked up to him.
She put on a gorgeous smile, confident that she'd be able to charm her target. "I've heard so much about you, Master Jiu. I did not expect to see you today but I am really happy about it. Can I propose a toast to you, Master Jiu?"
Xiao Jiuyan didn't say anything.
As soon as this woman approached, he frowned slightly.
Xu Ye knew that his boss didn't like it when people approach him so callously. When he saw him frown, he immediately pulled Xia Mei aside and said firmly, "Stay away from Master Jiu."
When CEO Wang saw what was happening, he yelled, "What are you doing? Apologize now!"
In truth, he didn't really care that Xia Mei had tried to get close to Master Xiao Jiuyan.
To him, Xia Mei was just a toy that he kept. If Master Xiao Jiuyan had liked her, he would have handed her over to him in a heartbeat.
However, it was now obvious that the powerful lord was not a fan of her.
Xia Mei's face turned bright red with extreme embarrassment.
"I am sorry, Master Xiao Jiuyan."
Xiao Jiuyan did not respond to Xia Mei's apology. Instead he looked at Guan Xi, who was shrinking like a little quail, and said calmly, "Come here."
The girls were all standing together and for a moment, they couldn't tell who was being summoned.
They looked at each other excitedly, eyes lighting up with hope that the powerful lord liked one of them.
Only Guan Xi shrank back from his words.
It was as if a little bunny had seen a big bad wolf.
None of the girls moved.
They were not sure who Master Xiao Jiuyan was calling, and they were afraid they'd get embarrassed like Xia Mei if they step out.
"Master Xiao, who... who are you referring to?"
President Wang asked carefully, wanting to make sure who Xiao Jiuyan was talking about.
Xiao Jiuyan did not answer President Wang. Instead, he repeated in a colder voice, "Come here."
Guan Xi wanted to cry.
Why was all this misery happening to her?
She was just trying to make money. Why, out of all the nights, and out of all the places, did she have to run into him here tonight?
She bet she'd have to copy all the disciplinary rules until her hands fall off.
She stepped out and mumbled, "Master Jiu."
