Shuishui smiled faintly. She knew it was normal for young people to have such thoughts. In her past life, she did not like going out, and she immersed herself in her studies every day. Because of family matters that had troubled her heart, she simply calmed down and worked hard. She had not thought of other things.
They were served six desserts. The red bean curd, which was one of the restaurant's specialties, tasted pretty good. The bean curd was black and made from black beans. It was not as tender as the soybean, but it was still pretty good.
It was getting late. Mu Ziyu remembered that Shuishui still had to go to school the next day, so they had to take their leave. "Shuishui has a class tomorrow, so we won't stay any longer."
"All right then. We'll stay for a while." Yang Yu and the others had not yet planned to go home, and they had a few more activities to do.
Mu Ziyu stood up and looked at Qian Shuishui. Shuishui also stood up, and they walked out together.
Shuishui couldn't help but laugh when they were out of the restaurant. "Your friends are very interesting."
"I think so too, but I don't like their nosiness. Just ignore everything they said." Although Mu Ziyu had a good temper, he was a little displeased that his friends ignored his rejections to be set up. He realized that they did not really get the message and that they had persisted even though he had clearly said he wasn't interested. Although they were friends, they weren't very close friends, so he just shrugged it off.
Shuishui looked through her phone as she sat in the car. A notification popped up. It stated that money had been transferred to her account. It was the payment for the ghostwriting projects.
A faint smile lingered on her face. She was in a good mood.
She had read the papers they sent and understood what they required. The paper itself wasn't difficult, but the topic required a bit of studying. There weren't many words required, so she would write one paper per day until she finished all the papers. They still had ten days to revise it if they weren't satisfied.
Once the deadline was arranged, she would be able to earn quite a bit. She would use her free time to study.
Mu Ziyu turned his head and saw Shuishui smiling. He couldn't help but smile as well. He found her really cute.
Casually eating and chatting together were also pleasant and blissful experiences. Most of the time, being ordinary and natural was also a blissful thing.
Shuishui returned to her apartment and happily got out of the car. "Brother Mu, I'm going up. You should go home early too."
She felt relieved. Shuishui quickly returned to her apartment, took a shower, and lay down on her comfortable bed. She thought about what to do. She had to start working on the theses. The university students were all rich students. If she did well, they would be willing to pay more. She didn't want to neglect them.
Shuishui started working after she took a shower. She didn't even notice when a message popped up on her phone. Mu Qing and Mu Zilin had texted Shuishui. When Shuishui didn't reply, they called. Unfortunately, Shuishui had set her phone to mute.
When it was almost twelve o'clock, Shuishui stretched her body. She studied the content and thought it was not bad. It could be considered as one of the articles, but she still had to find time to revise it.
She stood up and moved around. She glanced at her phone light as it blinked. It signaled an incoming message. She opened the message and tossed her phone aside. It was some idiot's useless message, which she deleted and ignored. Mu Zilin's message, however, entertained her a little. He had asked her what they would eat the next night.
She washed her face, turned off the computer, started reading, and then took a break.
Around midnight, she replied to the messages she had received. Afterwards, she lay down to rest.
Not long after she lay down, she heard an argument.
Shuishui;s head ached. It must be from Xu Die's apartment again. Otherwise, there wouldn't be such a loud noise. Shuishui stood up and complained, "The noise is really loud."
She closed the doors and windows and put on earplugs.
At Xu Die's apartment, the furniture was being smashed to pieces. The other tenants in the apartment complex were greatly affected by the noise, and they had started to complain. Some tenants even called the police.
The noise from Xu Die's apartment had finally quieted down, but at midnight, a police car arrived. Shuishui was in deep sleep, and she did not wake up at all.
Xu Die's family had caused a scene and lost face. They even had to pay a lot of money because they had destroyed the interior facilities of the apartment.
Shuishui had no idea what happened. The next day, she woke up and went to school as usual. When she walked out of her apartment, she found that the corridor was a little dirty and messy. "What's going on today? It's so messy."
A fellow resident in the corridor said, "Aiya, don't you know? The police were here last night. It was very noisy here."
"How can that be?" Shuishui was a little surprised. She had no idea what had happened.
When the resident saw Shuishui's stunned expression, she smiled and said, "You slept quite soundly. However, it has been settled. The father and daughter were taken away. They were chased out after they lost money and were unable to pay the rent. It's to prevent them from affecting our lives in the future. Naturally, we can't let such people live here."
Shuishui smiled and nodded. "I'll go to class first. Thank you for informing me."
She was in a good mood. Since Xu Die had already moved away, she wouldn't have to go through so much trouble thinking about where to move.
