Fortunately, the night was dark and Liang Yunsheng's red apple-like face didn't attract much attention from Yin Qianchen.
Yin Qianchen pulled Liang Yunsheng. He didn't sneak onto the dance floor. Instead, he took the empty space on the balcony.
Liang Yunsheng turned her head and tried stealing a glance at You Siyue, only to find him gone.
"Missing someone?" Yin Qianchen asked in a tone that told Liang Yunsheng he already knew the answer.
"No one. I'm learning how to dance seriously!"
Liang Yunsheng pursed her lips and wanted to laugh. She didn't quite believe that Yin Qianchen, who always kept a straight face and loved to do as he pleased, would be a good dancer.
Waltz. She tried to imagine Yin Qianchen dancing arrogantly. In the end, she failed.
Yin Qianchen looked down at Liang Yunsheng's red face and smiled gently, thinking that maybe she wasn't so bad.
However, Yin Qianchen always overturned Liang Yunsheng's imagination.
The waltz steps were not as she remembered.
Yin Qianchen led her forward and backward.
Liang Yunsheng's body stiffened. She didn't think her IQ was bad. But after a round of waltzing, she almost suspected that she had a problem with her limbs.
"Aiya! I stepped on your feet again!" Liang Yunsheng squatted down to wipe away the eyesore of a shoe print she had left, but Yin Qianchen pulled her arm.
"Continue."
"Continue?"
After stepping on Yin Qianchen's feet repeatedly, Liang Yunsheng's back was almost covered in a cold sweat. Where her body once was warm, it was no longer.
"You didn't learn this lesson well," Yin Qianchen told her.
As the song came to an end, Yin Qianchen let go. "There's no need to feel too much pressure. This time, I only asked you to come and play. There's a buffet on the first floor. If you're hungry, go ahead. An Ziming will come back to pick you up once the banquet is over."
Liang Yunsheng wished Yin Qianchen had said nothing. When he told her of the buffet, however, her stomach began to growl.
Yin Qianchen turned around and returned to the villa. He didn't turn back to look at her, leaving her to feel as though the wonderful scene had all been a dream.
Liang Yunsheng watched him, enraptured by him, as he walked.
She pursed her lips and felt a pang of concern hit her chest. Yin Qianchen didn't want anyone to know there was a connection between the two of them.
When Liang Yunsheng made her way to the dining room on the first floor she found You Siyue, engrossed by a fruit salad.
"You actually made it back alive?"
You Siyue, mid-bite, pulled Liang Yunsheng back in surprise and gave her a thumbs up. "This is the first time I've seen someone who can deal with that terrifying iceberg. You might actually have a chance in chasing him!"
"I'm not chasing him!" Liang Yunsheng emphasized.
"Alright, we'll, I'll still help you, either way. Should we get to know each other again? I'm You Siyue."
"Liang Yunsheng."
Liang Yunsheng smiled as she shook You Siyue's hand.
'Does this count as the first friend I've ever had in my life?' Liang Yunsheng thought.
'If this is the way my new life is heading, then maybe it isn't so bad.'
"Are you hungry?" You Siyue asked. "Eat this cake. It's so soft! I've already tried it!"
Despite everyone in the villa fighting with their wits and courage, there remained two hamsters with bulging cheeks, sat, eating delicious food and watching a good show.
"Liang Yunsheng?" A man's voice called.
Liang Yunsheng stopped eating. The voice sounded familiar. Could it be?
No. He... He would never be here!
