"You're the second woman I used this technique on," Shi Jue whispered as he pressed his thin lips against Xia Weiyang's ear.
Xia Weiyang's heart sank after she heard his words.
She knew that a lot of women wanted to be with Shi Jue.
Fortunately, she didn't fall for him.
Knock! Knock! Knock! Suddenly, someone knocked on the door.
"Come in," Shi Jue straightened his body and said lightly.
The door opened and a waiter entered with a few other people. They placed the plates they were carrying on the table beside the sofa in a well-trained manner.
After they left, Xia Weiyang's gaze darted from the table then to Shi Jue. A confused expression formed on her face.
She frowned. Perhaps she misunderstood the situation inside the room?
Shi Jue then reached out with his hand and gently caressed Xia Weiyang's tightly furrowed brows as if he wanted to smooth them out.
Instead of calming down, her frown became even more intense.
She turned her face away.
This was the first time she had seen Shi Jue act so gentle. However, the gentler he behaved, the more uncomfortable she felt. She suspected that Shi Jue might be planning something since being gentle was very uncharacteristic for him.
Xia Weiyang felt anxious.
In her mind, she tried to guess what Shi Jue might be planning.
However, she had no idea what was going on between her and Shi Jue.
In an instant, Shi Jue's face turned black. However, his expression immediately lightened up again.
"Let's eat," he said as he approached the table.
"You took me to this place just to eat?" Xia Weiyang was puzzled.
"What else do you think will happen?" Shi Jue glanced sideways. "Or do you want something else to happen?" As he said that, he looked at Xia Weiyang with a strange gaze.
"You're thinking too much," Xia Weiyang said with an indifferent tone to hide the embarrassment in her heart.
She walked over and sat at the opposite side of the table in front of Shi Jue. "Since this whole meal seems like a treat for me, then I won't be so formal." She then started to eat instead of waiting for Shi Jue.
Three years ago, Xia Weiyang would not have behaved so rudely. Now, however...
Suddenly, a pair of chopsticks appeared in front of Xia Weiyang.
Then, a piece of lean and fat streaky pork fell into her bowl. "Eat more meat. Look at yourself. You've lost a lot of weight."
Xia Weiyang's hands trembled violently. She almost dropped the chopsticks she was holding.
Her beautiful eyes widened as she looked at Shi Jue with a shocked expression on her face.
Was Shi Jue feeling alright?
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Shi Jue's face was dark.
"What do you mean?" Xia Weiyang stammered.
She could not believe that the cold and heartless young master Shi Jue gently served her food. Perhaps he was suffering from brain damage after hitting his head?
Why was he acting so nice?
Xia Weiyang truly believed that he was up to something.
Suddenly, Shi Jue's body emitted an intense and cold aura. The temperature in the entire room dropped.
Xia Weiyang heaved a sigh of relief. She gave Shi Jue a look that he should have given her and continued eating.
However, Shi Jue's face became even darker. The cold air emitted from his body became more intense. Despite the cold aura, Xia Weiyang still continued to eat.
Pack! Shi Jue threw his chopsticks on the table.
He then gave Xia Weiyang a fierce look before standing up and leaving.
Shi Jue stepped outside the room.
Mo Yi, who was waiting outside, saw his young master's dark expression. He could not help but take a few steps back. He was afraid that Shi Jue might lash out at him.
"Stop!" Shi Jue coldly snorted.
Mo Yi stopped moving. He swallowed with difficulty and carefully looked at his young master.
"Do you think I'm gentle today?" Shi Jue stared at Mo Yi and asked.
"Yes, young master. You're absolutely gentle." Mo Yi replied with a nervous tone.
"Then why doesn't she like what I'm doing for her?" Shi Jue frowned.
It seemed Xia Weiyang didn't respond to gentleness. She was used to being treated badly by the men in her life.
Being gentle was not working for Shi Jue.
It seemed Xia Weiyang preferred guys who were abusive.
