Shi Jue groaned in pain.
For Xia Weiyang, however, his groans sounded intoxicating.
The corner of her mouth twitched. It seemed Shi Jue was doing it on purpose.
Du Du opened her eyes and looked at Xia Weiyang and then at Shi Jue. She frowned and thought for a moment. "So, this is how babies are born." Du Du came to a sudden realization and nodded. "Daddy, I want to have a younger sister."
With a little sister, Du Du would have someone to play with. She no longer wanted to play with her brother because he was always bullying her.
"Alright. Can you go out first, Du Du? I'll give you a difficult task. Keep an eye on your brother, and don't let him come in. Otherwise, we won't be able to make you a younger sister," Shi Jue said with a gentle expression on his face.
"Okay." Du Du nodded her head heavily. "I promise. I will keep him out."
She then turned around and walked away with a serious expression on her face.
Hearing the door close, Xia Weiyang glared at Shi Jue. "Shi Jue, who talks like that? You just tricked Du Du!"
"I'm teaching her an important life lesson! It's better than you teaching her not to acknowledge her own father!"
"Ha!" Xia Weiyang sneered. "So for you, I'm a bad mother. That's what you think of me. Well then, there's no point in trying to change your mind. Anyway, we're not suitable for each other. It would be better if we don't see each other again in the future. Of course, I won't stop you from seeing your children."
The more Shi Jue listened to Xia Weiyang, the angrier his heart became.
For him, Xia Weiyang was only making an excuse so she could run away from him again.
He could not believe the words that came out of Xia Weiyang's mouth.
Why did she say those things?
