Dear Reader,
I have managed to scrap together a few books along with a handful of pens. I thought maybe writing down my daily life will help keep away the loneliness. As it's been a week nearing two since I have been on this island.
I was on a cruise ship to hell knows where as my friend pulled me along last minute, telling me it would be fun and there would be girls, maybe I could hit it off with one of them. So I went along. Half way through the trip me and a few others snuck over to an isolated area and drank almost all the liquor we snuck with us when some one daredone of us to jump the rail for $100, me in my drunken glory hoped off with out a second thought.
Probably the best decision I have ever made as the boat pulled away Jaws of some horrid beast ripped the boat in half. After that I started swimming in quite the frenzy. I don't know when or how long I swam. Just that the last thing I could remember was something coming at me from below me.
Who knows how much longer But I woke up on a rock Island simple this island is all rocks of various sizes along with patches of sand here and there. tho some of the rocks look different. Some glow at night others will burst into flames for a few seconds here and there. Theres also this floating obelisk in the center of the island it has hundreds of circular patterns across it some very intricate some just a plan old triangle. I've held off touching it until today. I have this very deep desire to touch it, a very foreign feeling, and that scared me. So I've held off until now. But I am growing weaker by the day. The fish that are trapped in the pounds can only sustain me for so much longer before malnutrition kills me. Well that's my current food situation.
Near the end of my first waking week I had the first wash up of debris and the shock of what's happened started to wear off. I say I spent maybe 2-3 days in a panic state until I saw a giant glowing fin stick out of the water and do a few circles of the island.
Yesterday, the magledon I have deemed I caught fighting a Giant squid.I thought it was going to lose at the start but soon its finn's started glowing a Crimson red as the water became thick and gained a strong Wine scent. the smell when you pop open a bottle of red wine. I quickly grabbed a few of my debris cups and bowls to scoop up the water and store it on the island. I was quite happy I did that as, as quickly as the crimson liquid came it left. Revealing several pieces of bloody tenticles floating about. I have tried taking a sip of the liquid but my body violently, collapsing I entered a coughing fit. Followed by a difficulty breathing since. I've also tried speak since then and my voice comes out grating and sickly Eery. Suprising me and causing me to worry at the damage the red liquid has done. But I have decided to not worry much more about it as that red liquid has rid me of all my thirst. I have been feeling parched for days as my only sources of water is fish blood witch is no long term solution as I kill about 4 times the amount of fish I eat just for the blood alone, For only temporary sating of my thirst. Luckily for me all the mini ponds around are packed to the brim with fish.
Now that brings me up today. I have a collection of fancy growing rocks piled neatly into what's special about them off in corners it also dawned on me this morning I didn't need to have been eating raw fish this entire. The rocks that burst into flame could of been used to heat up a piece of depri and then I could cook on said debri, I know I am a genius. so I had my first cooked bit of food in forever. Strangely tho I found it not much better then the raw fish. Which has been growing on me quite a bit as of the last few days.
I guess This might be good bye.
Closing the book I tucked it away into the water proof suitcase it washed up in this morning.
Standing up I dusted myself off looking to the Obelisk stairing down at me, calling for me.
It was time. I didn't want to live my entire life off fish and fish blood. With the occasional shark juice.
Moving closer to the obelisk I reached out to touch it.
But what if I do.
Stopping inches from the obelisk. I thought what if a plain flew by and saw me or helicopters came by and lifted me out.
But I have only saw giant flying reptiles for the last few days.
Hmm soft. Squishing my hand it was also slightly spongy.
