Indeed, masters are on different level.
Especially hidden masters like Big Cousin.
The Minister of Finance residence truly lives up to its rumors, I must say. You can 'in'filtrate but you cannot 'out'filtrate.
"..."
Please forget that I made that lame joke (; ̄ー ̄川
Tingling sensation deep in my stomach refused to go down even after Big Cousin and his guard had gone away from the vicinity. For me to just have this sense of alertness after Big Cousin and brother guard made their little chat, have I been too complacent and thought that I am the superior being?
Uh-oh. That is very bad... Is the downfall of 'Shadow Guard' Qi Sha around the corner?!
Shadow guards characters are usually mysterious in novels but they are still mob characters whose story readers won't care - happy endings could be they are still lurking in their hiding spots, less happier endings, they get to rest in piece... literally in pieces.
Qi Sha shuddered with that thought.
Her head unconsciously lowered down as she delved in her mind deeper...
Second, who was silent in his hideout at the back, while once every few seconds glanced nervously at the target item (flag), got attracted by the changing aura of Twelfth. If facial expressions can convey what a person is thinking, aura can convey what the person is feeling. Never had Second thought that he would meet a person who changes his aura as randomly fast as Twelfth.
Twelfth aura plunged down all of the sudden as he cast his head down. To a very terrifying degree of gloominess that Second couldn't help to worry. Before Second could jump over to his place and ask him what has happened to him, a burst of aura exploded from Twelfth!
Almost! Like the halo of a great hero descending from the heavens! With some wickedness aura blending sneakily in the background.
In the darkness, Twelfth grinned hard. The blackness of the surroundings failed to envelop the shining smile. It was the fact that Twelfth was now radiating some sort of a renewed positive aura, so dazzlingly brilliant that Second's mouth hanged open.
In the next second, Twelfth vanished from Second's sight!
'Where did he go?!'
A slightly deep boyish voice transmitted to Second's head, "I'm setting a trap because I just can't wait for the others without contributing anything.
Rest assured that my doings will not jeopardize the mission... but!
I shall see to it that the mission has a 99.9% rate of success!"
