Lan Nuo could not believe it. "What's wrong with Huo Nanchen. In the past, he couldn't bear to see Cheng Xi get injured or suffer any grievance. Moreover, Xu Yichen was at fault. Is he crazy? Is he going to let him off so easily?"
Lu Fang took a glass of wine and gulped it down. "You think he's crazy too, right? Who knows? Maybe he is obsessed with Gu Ruochu."
Lan Nuo pondered Lu Fang's words as she sipped her wine.

Gu Ruochu and Huo Nanchen went to the cinema at around seven in the evening. There were a lot of people in the movie line. Gu Ruochu found a vending machine and bought a bucket of popcorn and a double coke.
When Gu Ruochu trotted over to Huo Nanchen with the bucket of popcorn in her arms, she saw him standing with his hands in his trouser pockets as he looked at the popcorn in her hands in disgust. "What's this?"
"It's foam," Gu Ruochu replied playfully before stuffing the popcorn into his mouth.
There were a few couples in the line, but they were the only ones displaying their affection publicly. The moviegoers glanced at them and whispered among themselves.
Gu Ruochu did not know why Huo Nanchen was sulking. He had not spoken to her after they had come out of the bathroom.
He had promised to settle her lawsuit with Ning Tangxi, so Gu Ruochu was in a relaxed mood.
Usually, when Huo Nanchen was in a bad mood, most people wouldn't dare to provoke him. However, Gu Ruochu decided to try and cheer him up.
"How is it? Is the popcorn delicious?" She stood in front of him and raised her head slightly. Her dark eyes lit up. She boldly put her hand around his neck.
"It's just so-so." Huo Nanchen watched her swallow with a frown. He did not push her away. It looked as if he was enjoying himself. "Ruochu, there are still a few minutes left before the start of the movie. Do you want to talk about something that I am more interested in?"
"What?"
"You look like a little vixen. I'm sure you must have attracted a lot of flies. I want to know if you've ever taken a fancy to anyone else apart from Wang Xin."
Gu Ruochu looked at his appearance and frowned. What did he mean? Compared to Ning Tangxi's appearance, Gu Ruochu was more magnanimous. Why would he call her a little vixen?
Huo Nanchen had also disdainfully referred to her admirers as flies.
