Huo Nanchen lifted the blanket and climbed onto the bed. He then pulled Gu Ruochu into his arms.
"It's hot. We don't need two blankets." Gu Ruochu pushed the blanket away.
Huo Nanchen looked at the side of her face calmly. The weather was a little bit chilly since it had rained.
"But I'm very cold."
"Then turn on the air-conditioner."
"I don't want to turn on the air-conditioner."
Huo Nanchen sounded reasonable as he made the casual remarks. Gu Ruochu could not refute him, but she ignored him and closed her eyes to sleep.
Huo Nanchen held her hand tightly and hugged her. She was his only joy.
"We can postpone the wedding. But it will still take place."
Huo Nanchen's words rang in her ears. His voice was gentle and pleasant. She was tired, so she quickly fell asleep.
"Ruochu, don't ignore me. Hmm." There was a subtle sense of grievance in his voice.
They both fell asleep, but a few hours later, Gu Ruochu had a nightmare. Huo Nanchen woke up after she tossed and turned in the bed a few times. He lowered his head and looked at her face before opening his arms and hugging her tightly.

As she went out, she bumped into Huo Nanchen's assistant at the door. She was surprised to see him at the Huo residence. "Li Tezhu, why are you here?"
"The boss asked me to pick you up. Uncle Wang called in sick today."
Li Tezhu had also picked up a suit for Huo Nanchen and was holding it in his hand.

Xu Yichen had no idea how he had bumped into Cheng Xi and injured him. By the time he regained his senses, the child was already crying in pain.
