Huo Nanchen's behavior had been very crude lately.
'Does he mean that he wants to do it tonight?' When the thought ran through her mind, her heart thumped again, adding an unnoticeable sense of nervousness.
Her body became more warm and uncomfortable. She could not even breathe properly.
What was happening to her?
Gu Ruochu's rationality was still intact. She wondered if she had been drugged. That was not possible. She was sensitive to most types of drugs and would not be easily fooled.
"What's wrong?" Huo Nanchen realized that something was wrong with her. He reached out and lifted her blanket. "Are you not feeling well?"
His voice was like magic. Hearing it made her feel less uncomfortable. However, her heart was still pounding.
Huo Nanchen turned on the lights, and Gu Ruochu suddenly rolled out of the bed. She felt as if her entire brain had been turned into mush, and her body was getting more and more uncomfortable.
"Ruochu!" He reached out and lifted her. His voice was full of concern. "What's wrong?"
She only shook her head and did not say anything.
As he held her in his arms, she felt a little better. Her legs suddenly wrapped around his waist and, her hands grabbed tightly at his neck.
Huo Nanchen was shocked by her actions and reached out to hold her, afraid that she would fall.
Her breathing was short as she subconsciously rubbed against him.
"..."
"Gu Ruochu!" His deep voice rang out and the color in his eyes deepened. "Do you know what you're doing?"
"I'm not feeling well."
"You are unwell?" Huo Nanchen remembered the two bottles of wine that they had drank at the movie launch. Li Tezhu had brought them over from Crimson.
Crimson was the best at mixing those kinds of flirtatious wines.
"Don't worry, I'll feel better soon."
At that moment, Gu Ruochu's mind was filled with images of her being embarrassed by him. Huo Nanchen was not calm either. At least, he was not as calm as before. His mind was filled with thoughts of how to ravage her.
A faint smile appeared on his face. His hand moved involuntarily along her body. Gu Ruochu trembled slightly when she saw what he was up to.
"What are you doing?"
Gu Ruochu was extremely sensitive. Her voice made his heart flutter, and he quickly let go of her. Gu Ruochu felt extremely discontented when she got off his body.
"Since you don't like it when I touch you, go to sleep."
Gu Ruochu was stunned by his words. She was slightly annoyed. Had she said something wrong?
Huo Nanchen did not take the initiative to tease her anymore. Instead, he slowly took off his clothes and deliberately exposed his broad chest in front of her eyes.
He then laid down on the bed.
Gu Ruochu's gaze subconsciously followed him. It was glued to his body and gave off a hint of longing and anticipation. Wasn't he just teasing her? Why did he lie down?
Gu Ruochu's mind was a little muddled. She restrained herself and lay down on the other side of the bed. She only had a nightgown on, but her body was very hot.
"Why did you turn off the air-conditioner?" Gu Ruochu felt a little dizzy as she questioned him.
"The weather was very cold, so I just turned it off," Huo Nanchen replied matter-of-factly.
The bed was filled with his scent. Gu Ruochu slowly lifted the blanket because of the heat that was circulating through her body.
She opened her eyes and looked to her side. Huo Nanchen had closed his eyes, and he looked as if he was asleep. However, his large, smooth, and sturdy chest made her feel dizzy.
Huo Nanchen felt Gu Ruochu's gaze and unconsciously turned around to get closer to her.
