Huo Nanchen had gone to the Ning family residence all alone. Gu Ruochu had given him a brief explanation of her kidnapping incident, and An Shaosi had filled him in on the rest of the details.
"Huo..."
When the tall and straight figure walked into the villa, the atmosphere instantly turned chaotic.
"You're here." Ning Tang's face was full of fatigue.
"Where's Ning Tangxi?"
"She's at the police station."
Huo Nanchen did not reply. His deep eyes were fixed on the man kneeling on the ground.
He walked towards him expressionlessly, and Ning Zongxuan could feel the breeze of Huo Nanchen's coat as he steadily approached him.
All of a sudden, a fist landed squarely on Ning Zongxuan's face, and he screamed and fell back. However, Huo Nanchen grabbed him by the collar and shook him vigorously. "Ning Zongxuan, how dare you touch my wife? Do you want to die? You wanted to sell her into the mountains. You are an abandoned baby from an unknown background, and you still had the guts to harm Ruochu!"
Another kick landed on the Ning Zongxuan's waist.
"Huo, don't be rash!"
Even though the situation was about to get out of control, everyone looked on as Huo Nanchen continued to punish Ning Zongxuan.
Ning Tang did not stop him, but his eyes were slightly red.
"Nanchen, even if you kill him, my daughter will not come back." Ning Tang wasn't trying to protect Ning Zongxuan, but he had an indescribable sorrow in his heart.
Huo Nanchen did not listen to him. He continued to punch Ning Zongxuan until he saw that his mouth was full of blood.
After he let go of Ning Zongxuan, Huo Nanchen returned to his elegant and calm appearance. "Mr. Ning, because of your son's role in my wife's kidnapping, he will be sentenced to at least twenty years in prison by the courts. I guess you won't help him, right?"
Huo Nanchen knew that Lan Nuo would help him convict Ning Zongxuan to a long prison sentence.
When Ning Zongxuan heard that he would be sentenced to twenty years of imprisonment, he went crazy.
"No! I'm the Eldest Young Master of the Ning family. How can you do this to me?" Ning Zongxuan lost his mind and roared. "Huo Nanchen, if you dare to touch me, my father will never let you go!"
"Do you think that your father can still protect you?" The smirk of Huo Nanchen's lips made Ning Zongxuan freeze on the spot. "Since Mr. Ning has no objections. I'll take you with me."
Ning Tang nodded, his eyes full of fatigue.
Ning Zongxuan's legs became completely weak
He would be ruined by the time he completed a twenty-year prison sentence.
"Dad! Mom!"
"Don't call me dad anymore!" Ning Tang stared at Ning Zongxuan coldly. "Do a good job in prison. Twenty years will pass by in a flash. I hope that you will have changed your entitled attitude when you get out. I'm only keeping you alive because of your mother."
The bodyguards were secretly shocked by the scene unfolding before their eyes. From the look on Ning Tang's face, they knew that he had completely given up on the Eldest Young Master.
Ning Tang could no longer tolerate his son.
Ning Zongxuan desperately tried to grab his mother's hand, but the bodyguard was very impatient. "Eldest Young Master Ning, if you move again, I might accidentally break your arm or something."
"No! Let me go!"
Ning Zongxuan was about to break down.
However, nobody tried to help him. Zhang Yuan was weeping silently by the side, but she let Huo Nanchen's men take her son away.
They quickly picked up Ning Zongxuan and followed Huo Nanchen out of the Ning family's villa.
Back at the hospital, Gu Ruochu had been shocked after finding out that Huo Nanchen had left his room after she went out to run some errands. Huo Nanchen had not recovered from his injuries, but he had already run away.
