When Zhang Yuan saw the news, she immediately got up from the sofa. Her heart was beating wildly, and she called for the maid, "Auntie Li! Auntie Li!"

"Is this President Huo's ward?" Zhang Yuan frowned. She looked at the tall bodyguard and roared, "I'm his mother-in-law. Can't I go in to take a look? My daughter must be inside. Are you going to prevent me from seeing her?"
When the bodyguard saw Zhang Yuan's shabby appearance, he was not sure about her identity. He hesitated for a moment before he decided to go into the ward and ask for instructions.

The bodyguard turned around and walked into the ward.
Gu Ruochu was stunned when she heard that Zhang Yuan was outside the ward.
"Young Madam, should we let that lady in?" Gu Ruochu's reaction puzzled the bodyguard.
"Let her in."
After their fight, Gu Ruochu had made it clear that she did not want to see Zhang Yuan.
She had taken Ning Tangxi's side even though Gu Ruochu was her biological daughter.
Gu Ruochu could not compete with the bond that Zhang Yuan and Ning Tangxi had formed after twenty years together.
However, Ning Tang had warmed up to Gu Ruochu. For her father's sake, Gu Ruochu decided to let Zhang Yuan into the ward.
"Let the lady in."

When Zhang Yuan entered the room, she saw Gu Ruochu sitting in front of Huo Nanchen's bed with a sad look on her face. Her hands were tightly clasped around his fingers. It was a pitiful sight.
Zhang Yuan couldn't ask Huo Nanchen about Ning Tangxi's whereabouts since he was unconscious.
When she realized that she would not get any answers, Zhang Yuan immediately became anxious.
"Ruochu."
She placed her hand on Gu Ruochu's shoulder and rubbed it gently.
"Madam Ning, thank you for coming to see him. Please take a seat." When she heard Gu Ruochu address her in such a formal manner, Zhang Yuan's heart ached, and she felt helpless.
