"Are you saying that you're so angry that you want to beat me up?" Gu Ruochu's heart could not help but tremble as she raised her head to look at Huo Nanchen's storm-like expression. "Then you should just beat me up to death now. You're already so evil that you're willing to assault people as you please. He's Ning Tang's friend. I can't let you cripple him."
"When have I ever assaulted you?" Huo Nanchen watched as Gu Ruochu took the initiative to wrap herself around him. He raised his hand and pulled her into his embrace. "Then come with me and lie in my bed. If you don't, I will do whatever I want for as long as I want. Can you handle that?"
His voice was very low, and only Gu Ruochu could hear him.
Although Yi Eryang could not hear Huo Nanchen's words, he saw Gu Ruochu's face turn pale.
"Ruochu, come to bed with me for a day and do whatever I want. Don't you want to help me get rid of my anger?"
Huo Nanchen had made up his mind to impregnate Gu Ruochu. He would not allow her to take a pill until she had conceived.
If Gu Ruochu would not take him back, Huo Nanchen knew that he had to devise some sort of scheme to keep her by his side.
However, his request made Gu Ruochu upset.
"Are you crazy? We're divorced!"
"Are you out of your mind? Did you win the case? Have I signed the agreement?"
Huo Nanchen knew that he had the upper hand. They were yet to be officially divorced.
Strictly speaking, she was still his wife.
He did not have the patience to wait for her answer. He reached out and gently pushed her away before taking large strides towards Yi Eryang.
Gu Ruochu looked at the blood on the ground, and her heart trembled.
If Huo Nanchen were to cripple Yi Eryang, Gu Ruochu knew that Ning Tang would be furious with her.
Without a second thought, she rushed forward again and held onto Huo Nanchen's waist tightly. "Huo Nanchen, stop right there."
He had already kicked Yi Eryang in the gut. Gu Ruochu held onto him and whispered into his ear, "Don't make a move. I'll accompany you."
Huo Nanchen's nerves were stimulated by her words. He held onto her chin and smiled. "Are you that unwilling? Very well, since you're so afraid of seeing this man get hurt, don't look tortured under me later."
Huo Nanchen felt a sense of powerlessness in his heart, but he held onto Gu Ruochu tightly. He dragged her towards her apartment, but she struggled to get free. However, Huo Nanchen hugged her even tighter as if he was going to rub her into his bones and blood. His breathing was extremely gloomy.
"Ruochu, haven't you noticed that I'm trying my best to control my rationality? Don't move, or I don't know what I'll do."
Huo Nanchen was very forceful.
Gu Ruochu could not keep up with his pace. They made their way into the apartment building.
After initially resisting, Gu Ruochu keyed in the floor to her apartment in the elevator.
They stopped outside her apartment, and Huo Nanchen used his eyes and signaled her to open the door.
Gu Ruochu held her bag tightly and quickly took out her keys. She avoided his gaze and opened the apartment door. As soon as she entered, Huo Nanchen carried her on his shoulder and took her to the bedroom.
Yi Eryang watched as they entered the apartment building and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth before returning to his car.
Huo Nanchen was really ruthless.
He was more ruthless than Uncle Ning had described him to be. Fortunately, Yi Eryang was still alive.
He had almost lost his life trying to defend Gu Ruochu.
