Gu Ruochu only saw Huo Nanchen's figure in front of the window after she had put on her clothes. Her back was facing him. He leaned his elbow against the window and held a cigarette between his long fingers.
The white smoke obscured his majestic features as it wafted in the air.
"Do you want to return to the country?" Huo Nanchen turned around and looked at Gu Ruochu.
"Yes. My flight leaves at ten o'clock." Gu Ruochu reached out and combed her long hair. After packing all her luggage, she said, "Here, you can have your phone back."
Five hours were more than enough for Rong Xiao to facilitate Xu Yichen's escape.
"Ruochu, are you seriously planning on leaving me in Country M and going back home by yourself?" Huo Nanchen looked at her and spoke in a low and calm voice. He did not reach out to grab his phone.
Gu Ruochu bent down and placed the phone on the coffee table.
"Ruochu, are you leaving me behind after using me? What a shrewd plan."
"Yes. I've used you, but I paid you for your time?" Gu Ruochu furrowed her brows as she looked at him.
Huo Nanchen looked at her and sneered, "What do you mean you've paid me? Are you saying that you only had sex with me because you wanted my help?"
Gu Ruochu raised her eyes and looked at him with a strange and cold expression. "Huo Nanchen, I just asked for a divorce, do you think that I slept with you because I love you? I was using you."
Huo Nanchen's jaw gradually tensed up, but Gu Ruochu ignored his reaction.
"Besides, I've already booked a plane ticket. You didn't tell me that you were going back to the country." Gu Ruochu spoke in a confident tone. "Of course, if you want to go back to the country now, I'll tell Li Tezhu to book a plane ticket for you later."
Gu Ruochu carried her luggage and walked towards the door.
Just as her hand turned the doorknob, Huo Nanchen called out, "Ruochu, I won't get a divorce!"
