After Huo Nanchen had teased Gu Ruochu, he went back to the driver's seat and started the engine.

When they arrived at the Royal Road, they saw several police officers and reporters waiting at the door.
One female police officer saw Gu Ruochu get out of the car and exchanged a look with the police officers beside her before walking towards the car. "Mrs. Huo, you're finally here."
"What's the matter?"
Gu Ruochu did not understand why the police officers had raided her company.
"I'm sure you heard the news about Miss Gu's kidnapping and rape a few days ago, right?"
"Yes." Gu Ruochu remained calm. "But none of that has anything to do with me. You are after the wrong person. Gu Yanwei and I broke off our relationship a long time ago!"
"Madam Huo, as far as I know, you and Miss Gu had several conflicts and entanglements in the past, so I would like to invite you to the police station to make a statement." The female police officer was polite, but her tone made Gu Ruochu unhappy.
"I've already said that I had nothing to do with what happened to Gu Yanwei."
"Madam Huo, please cooperate with me, or else, I'll have further reasons to suspect that Miss Gu Yanwei's matter had something to do with you." The policewoman's tone became more aggressive. There are so many missing and dead people in the country. Do I have to go to the police station and explain their whereabouts? Officer, I thought that your duty was to enforce the law impartially."
The policewoman was taken aback by Gu Ruochu's sarcasm.
She was momentarily at a loss for words. After a long pause, she said, "Madam Huo, we're hoping to find out the truth, so please cooperate with us."
The Lamborghini that had dropped Gu Ruochu off had began driving away, but after a short distance, it turned around and rolled back. Huo Nanchen rolled down the window and looked at the police officer.
