"I'm not afraid." Cheng Xi shook his little head and lay softly on Huo Nanchen's shoulder.
Zhang Yuan began to cry again when she saw the child's courage.
Her poor grandson was so innocent, yet he always had bad things happen to him. Ever since Huo Nanchen had met Gu Ruochu, nothing good had happened to Cheng Xi.
One of the doctors hastily entered the room again. Zhang Yuan turned around and asked, "Doctor, have you gotten the blood?"
"Mrs. Ning, the hospital director just informed me that there isn't enough blood in the blood bank. The family members are going to have to take a blood test to determine if there is any suitable blood type. The child needs a blood transfusion immediately."
Zhang Yuan's heart turned cold. Things seemed to be getting worse for her daughter and her grandson.
Ning Tangxi was the first to get her blood tested since she was Cheng Xi's mother, and her blood was, in theory, the most compatible with Cheng Xi's blood.
She took out her cell phone and made a call. Soon, Ning Tang rushed to the hospital. He looked a little tired.
Huo Nanchen put down the child and followed the doctor to take the blood test.
After they had all taken the test, they sat silently in Cheng Xi's ward. Ning Tangxi glanced at Huo Nanchen pitifully.
An hour later, the blood test reports were ready.
A nurse whose surname was Liu took the reports and organized them on the table.
Suddenly, Nurse Liu looked at the reports and was surprised. She thought that they had made a mistake.
"Nurse Chen, did you mix up the samples for the blood report?"

"Who took this blood test?"
Seeing that her parents both had type A blood, Ning Tangxi found her type B blood to be ridiculous. She was sure that the report was wrong.
"Miss Ning, this is the hospital's accurate report. It can't be wrong."
"You're lying! It's a mistake! It must be a mistake!"
Ning Tangxi threw the paper at the nurse's face. A terrifying revelation suddenly dawned on her. Her parents had type A blood, how could they give birth to a child with type B blood?
