As Gu Ruochu walked by, An Duo could not resist the urge to mock her. "Ruochu, I admire your endurance. Ning Tangxi embarrassed you at the cocktail party, yet you still came to the company to show off your love for Nanchen. Don't you think that you're a joke?

Gu Ruochu stood still. She turned around to look at her. "When it comes to endurance, I can't compare to you. After all, the man you love is your brother's best friend. You can only hide your love in your heart. I think you're a joke."
An Duo's heart tightened, and she stared angrily at Gu Ruochu.
Gu Ruochu spoke in a calm tone, but her words pierced An Duo's heart.
"You know everything about Huo Nanchen's life, but you don't mess around with him. It's more convenient for Nanchen to marry you than to marry the daughter of a rich family because you're very obedient and don't cause trouble. At the end of the day, Master Huo has a good eye," An Duo's said sarcastically. Gu Ruochu's words had left her feeling humiliated.

"Why do you want us to go out and watch a movie? We have a home theater installed, right? Do we have to go out and watch it so far away?"
Huo Nanchen placed one hand on the back of the sofa and slowly leaned forward towards her. His voice was hoarse as he said, "I'm going to take a shower and watch a movie with you. Don't you filmmakers like to watch movies?"
Gu Ruochu always watched movies when she was in the bedroom. Her heart and mind were always captivated when she was watching the movies that she even ignored Huo Nanchen.
Gu Ruochu wondered if he was angry with her.
