"Yes, I haven't eaten yet." Zhou Yunxi smiled apologetically. She had arrived at the Huo family home early, but she had stood outside for hours.
She was tired and hungry.

Gu Ruochu decided to hide in the bathroom.
When Huo Nanchen finally entered the bedroom, the bathroom was locked.

She walked over to the mirror and saw a very young face in the reflection.
Gu Ruochu lowered her head and poured cold water on her face. Droplets of water fell from her smooth skin and the cold temperature continuously stimulated the nerves in her brain.
When she raised her head again, Huo Nanchen was quietly standing behind her. As she looked at him, he leaned over and slowly ran his hand through her long hair.
She could clearly feel his well-defined muscles as well as his smooth and delicate skin. The warmth and aura from his body made her subconsciously want to dodge out of the bathroom.
Gu Ruochu was shocked at first. She did not know what had happened but her heart began to race again. She had never felt so nervous before.
"When did you come in?"
"Why didn't you ask me how I got in?" He asked her meaningfully, pointing out that she had purposely locked the door. "What are you afraid of? Hmm?"
