Shihoon heard Jonathan and he nodded indicating that he could do it. The time limit for the giant frog ended and before it disappeared, Shihoon skillfully summoned another giant toad from a photo in his hand.
The next giant toad summoned by Shihoon did well in holding the stone. As Cade was unable to fight anymore, He and Viola retreated away from the falling huge stone.
The explorers that came with Jonathan did two things. They either fought the leftover Boarman or they were helping to evacuate the injured.
Since the arrival of Shihoon and Jonathan, everything went well. Cade felt a bit regretful about what had happened. He somehow saved the injured but he was unable to save the ones fighting.
"You did your best," Viola suddenly said that to Cade. Sensing that Cade was feeling down, Viola said that to encourage him.
Cade looked at Viola and he stayed silent. He knew that Viola was trying to cheer him up. However, even with those words, Cade did not feel better. Many lives were lost in this battle and he did not feel good about it.
While Cade was thinking about many things that had happened, a surge of mana can be felt coming out of Jonathan. Cade and Viola looked at Jonathan's direction and saw him clad in blue mana and that mana was getting thicker and thicker.
After a few seconds, Jonathan flowed the mana from his body to his greatsword. He looked at the huge stone currently being held by Shihoon's summoned toad.
Jonathan tightened his grip of the great sword and took a stance. After that, with all the strength he can muster, Jonathan leaped upwards towards the center of the huge rock.
He pointed his great sword towards the huge stone and pierced it. The blue mana clad the great sword spread all over the huge stone and cracks started appearing.
The cracks continued getting bigger and bigger and a few seconds later, the huge stone was smashed to pieces.
"Jonathan has become much stronger than before," said Cade while looking at the stone being destroyed by Jonathan.
The Boarman mage was shocked to see that they were able to destroy the huge stone he created. He thought that he could end them with that skill but he was wrong.
"I need to retreat!" thought the Boarman mage. However, he was swamped by attacks from an unknown enemy. Whenever he wanted to move somewhere, the air distorted slightly like something was gathered there and then fire came and suddenly became bigger when it touched the distorted air.
He knew that the distorted air was responsible for the fire to become stronger but he did not know why that happened. Fortunately, he was clad in rock armor and managed to defend himself from the fire.
The attacks kept coming and bit by bit, the Boarman mage can feel that the fire was getting stronger and stronger. He could feel the heat even when he was protected by the rock armor.
The rock armor had also been getting hotter and hotter. He could not wait anymore. He needed to retreat fast. If he continued getting hit by the fire, he might die.
With that thought, the Boarman mage immediately thought out a plan. He got an idea. The Boarman mage put out his hand on the ground and then, a ground wall was made blocking the fire.
With that ground wall, the fire could not reach him and he made his way and escaped the battlefield.
"He runs away…" said a woman in light green hair. That woman was Aera. Her group met Jonathan group after they destroyed the accompanying core and had been traveling in search of the last core together.
"Another one. I thought they were all brainless but there are some smart ones in the group," said Muruku.
"The leader of the group is usually the smart one. The others will always be brainless," said Aera and she came out of the forest. On her right was Muruku and left was Sera. Sera was quiet the whole time and just did what she was supposed to do.
"So many people die… But for the camp this big, is this all of them?" said Aera as she found it weird that there were not many people in the camp.
"You are right, there are not many of them here. Did they go somewhere? An internal fight maybe?" said Muruku while looking around.
"How is the mage? Did you guys kill him?" said Jonathan and he approached them. Aera told Jonathan that he ran away. Jonathan did not say anything as they could not predict what will happen on the battlefield.
"How many of them survive?" asked Aera to Jonathan.
"Not many. One who can fight and a few others that are already injured for a while," said Jonathan and he continued, "Let's meet them."
Jonathan, Aera, Muruku, and Sera headed to Cade while the other explorers went around the camp collecting the explorers' dead bodies to their storage. As for the Boarman's body, they put it in a corner and will burn it later.
"Miss Viola, how is Cade?" asked Jonathan while looking at Viola. Though he could see that Cade was fine, he still asked the expert.
"He is fine now. It will not take long until I fully heal him," said Viola with a smile.
"There is a small tent there. I think it is better if we move there," said Shihoon who came out of nowhere. Everyone looked at the small tent and decided to go there.
Though the tent was small, it was not that small. It can fit about 10 people inside. If it was 10 thousand years ago, that kind of tent was considered to be big. However, time changed and now, that kind of tent was considered small.
Once they got inside, Aera immediately asked Cade, "Cade, right? This is a big camp but I don't see many people here."
"Right now, they are at the nearby Boarman base to destroy the last accompanying core," said Cade with Viola at his side healing him. Cade saw Sera but decided to ignore her because they were not on good terms.
"Really?! Then, I guess we don't need to worry about finding the last accompanying core," said Muruku and he was happy to hear the news.
"But what if they fail?" said Shihoon as he did not want to put too much hope. He just arrived inside the world dungeon and coincidentally met Jonathan a few hours ago. He had yet fought that many Boarman but he knew they were strong.
"There is no need to worry. They will be fine. There are many strong people among them and they will do well," said Cade. He did not worry about them that much because he knew their capability.
"… Then, why are some of you here? Why didn't you guys go too?" asked Muruku.
"They are taking care of the injured. With this huge group of people, there will be many injured people. If all of them left, who would take care of them?" said Viola as she saw many injured people in a tent before she arrived at Cade's side.
Cade nodded meant that what she said was right. "I saw the explorers outside collecting the dead body. Don't throw away the Boarman's dead body. There is some use for them," said Cade.
"Use? We can get something from the Boarman's body?" asked Aera as per her knowledge, she did not know that they could get something from the Boarman's body.
"Only me and one other person in this camp can get something from the body. Other people won't be able to do it," said Cade and he explained to them about the essence.
Everyone was shocked to hear that the Boarman's body had something like that. They were also shocked to hear that the bloodline power had an awakening.
Everyone in the tent was discussing the essence and bloodline awakening and suddenly someone entered the camp and it was Rico.
~~~
"So, everyone else dies?" asked Rico.
"Yeah. Other than me and the ones that were already injured long ago, everyone else dies," said Cade with a solemn look.
When Cade thought about everyone that died, he was frustrated. He was too weak. Even after he got a lot of increase in a stat, he was not strong.
If not because Jonathan and others arrived to help him, he will die too. He had too many weaknesses that he needed to cover. However, since he was trapped inside the world dungeon, he was unable to do much to cover that weakness.
"Is everything going well at the base?" asked Cade.
"When I left, everything was fine. I think there won't be any problem," said Rico. "We should clean up the camp so that when everyone gets back, they will not get shocked," said Rico while smiling.
He was relieved that Cade was safe. He did not care much about the other explorers but only Cade's safety was important to him. He might sound cruel but there was nothing he could do. His strong connection and feeling towards Cade made him do that.
