Wu Jian's bright gaze and expression of expectation made Chewe calm his nervousness and growing anger. At least, the omega had not forgotten him or would ignore him as he imagined.

"Doctor Chewe, did you come for Prince Mu's check-in?" Wu Jian said looking away from Chewe's reddish-brown eyes and changing to a more polite expression. He sat on the couch leaving a space between him and Chewe.

The omega's heart was racing, but his face showed a calm expression. However, Wu Jian's initial expression had already been picked up by Chewe and he knew that the omega was acting.

"Wu Jian, do I really need to say who I came for?" Chewe said smiling broadly, his scalding look on the omega that can only look away once more.
