Shaking Timmy's arm, Avi asked, "Ca-...Ca-what? Caramel? Cabinet pudding?"
This earned stares from Penny and Cyrus who had unbelievable expressions on their faces.
"What? I'm just very hungry right now, how many hours have we been in here?" Avi pouted while flipping her hair.
Ignoring Avi, Penny and Cyrus zoomed in on Timmy to know why he unexpectedly froze when he suddenly whipped his head to the right of the ceiling, then left, consequently making the rest of the group jump backwards.
"Wha....."
"Cameras! I forgot about the cameras!" Timmy cut Cyrus off as he went to each corner of the hallway that had a CCTV camera before he stood in front of a computer on the counter that was positioned just beside one of the red laser beams and began to type frantically.
His actions startled the rest of the group especially Avi.
"What are you doing?" Penny asked Avi who was already kneeling on the neatly tiled floor with her arms raised up in the air.
"What do you think? I'm surrendering! We've been watched since the very beginning, let me tell you, we are toast, okay!" Avi said with her arms still in the air.
Staring at the cameras, Cyrus dragged Avi to her feet, then approached Timmy and stood behind him. "I don't think the cameras are switched on T, they actually look...kinda dead to me."
Hearing Cyrus's words, Avi and Penny became shocked and observed the cameras too. Realising that it was indeed turned off, they breathe a sigh of relief.
"That's what I find surprising too," Timmy said before he paused his actions. "Cy! Look at the CCTV footage that's currently being displayed right now!"
Cyrus moved in on the computer and saw nothing. "I don't see anything," he said while shaking his head.
"Exactly my point! It's nothing but a plain white screen on all cameras." Timmy said with his hand on his chin.
"The only thing I can think about right now is the virus, it's obviously doing more than I thought it would. Did my master add a few tweaks to it?" Timmy asked as he glanced at his 'necklace'.
"Let me check the previously recorded footages," Timmy said as he took control of the mouse.
As Cyrus and Timmy were trying to find out about the cameras, Penny, on the other hand, moved on to try one of the keycards on the door, which was unlocked immediately.
Surprised that she was able to successfully unlock a door, she carefully opened and peeked into the room but what she found wasn't what she was expecting at all.
Noticing Penny's stiffness, Avi moved closer to Penny and asked as she peeked over her shoulders, "Penny, what did you find?"
But immediately she saw what was in the room, her eyes widened as she used a hand to cover her mouth.
It was a room filled with dangerous weapons of different shapes and sizes.
They hadn't seen so many dangerous tools in one place, not even after receiving Mr Davis's and Mr Jeremy's rigorous training and being exposed to Platinum Valleys training center. One of the many things they were taught while training was not to panic in dangerous and difficult situations but this discovery actually made them worry a little. However, it also made their hands itch a bit.
Staring into each other's eyes, Avi and Penny had one single thought.
'I want!'
Nodding their heads, Penny and Avi took a quick glance at the boys before walking into the room.
The weapons weren't arranged properly and were scattered all over the rugged floor but they had different name tags on them.
However, from the way the weapons were clumsily arrayed, it could be perceived that the people who kept them in the room were in a hurry and didn't have the time to sort them out but the tags proved that they were obviously planning to.
Picking a few pocket-sized weapons and slotting it in their shoes, and pants. The girls walk out 'innocently' and lock their eyes on the unconscious men.
As if on cue, they look into each other's eye and approach the men with a cheeky grin, stripping them off their silver shirts and headbands.
Tying their hair into a bun to match those of the guards, they put on the headbands and wear the silver shirts. Leaving the men on the floor with nothing but a plain t-shirt and shorts.
Admiring themselves from the stainless steel elevator door, they walk back towards the guys when Timmy suddenly exclaimed.
"Oh no!"
"What's wrong T?" Cyrus asked as he placed his palm on Timmy's shoulder and peered into the computer while Penny and Avi quickened their paces.
"Okay so get this. There is a smoke detector in the laboratory that we just escaped from. Penny drained some....mixtures into the sink and I'm guessing they somehow reacted with each other and released a form of gas." Timmy explained hurriedly.
"So the detector sensed the gas and was supposed to go off around this time but that was when the virus overrode the whole system and shut down the power to the detector which really helped." He continued as he pointed to the computer screen.
"But right now, all the alarms in each laboratory, in the hallways and even the stairways are being activated and they are about to go off in the next...8 mins." Timmy said as he continued to point, showing the rest of the group the alarms that have been activated and the others that were about to.
"So I guess what I'm trying to say is, we need to get out of here, like right now!" Timmy said looking at Cyrus.
"But how are we going to get out without alerting the men outside? Running out the door is the same as walking into the palm of their hands. Although they won't kill us cause they obviously want something from us, escaping will not be an available option anymore." Cyrus answered back.
"The darkness caused by the weather could also keep us hidden, but the lights will be a huge disadvantage." Timmy contemplated as he got up from the chair and placed in front of the counter.
The guys began to brainstorm totally leaving the girls out of it, not even realising that the girls left and were already behind them. The girls looked at each other and smirked before clearing their throats.
Looking at the girls who looked like the 'silvery' guards, Timmy and Cyrus took a few steps back before recognising them.
Finally gaining their attention, Penny smiled while Avi struck a pose with her tongue out.
Gasping in awe, the guys chuckle before quickly going back up the stairs to the room they locked the previous unconscious guards in.
After stealing their 'uniforms' and wearing it according to how the guards were dressed, Cyrus and Timmy lock the room again.
They were about to turn around and leave when they saw some of the guards writhing on the dark blue rugged floor.
Looking at Cyrus who was confused, Timmy chuckled and said, "Looks like Avi's potion is working just fine."
"What is it?" Cyrus asked still confused.
"Avi's latest invention. It's a potion that causes deep sleep with a hint of aphrodisiac." Timmy smiled with his hands in both of his 'newly acquired' pants pockets.
"The aphrodisiac was gotten from a type of flower and I only increased the heat in order to speed up its action cause it's very little. So right now, they feel so uncomfortable yet they can't wake up to relieve themselves. Isn't Avi just too mean?" Timmy laughed before walking down the stairs.
Leaving a blushing Cy who looked at the guards and back at Timmy with disbelief.
While following Timmy down the stairs, Cyrus shuddered and began to chant in his head,
'I must never offend Timmy and Avi!'
