Chapter 22 - A Weird Dream

Thud-

Like a lifeless corpse, his body fell to the ground without any movement.

After sometime, the pain vanished completely and a wave of coolness spread over his body making him feel all refresh again. The coolness gave a gentle feeling and Oslo felt that his life was coming back to him slowly but surely.

His eyes flickered before opening but as soon as he opened his eyes, he found himself in an unfamiliar place. The ceiling he saw was constructed in an unique style and his vision was also little blur.

"Brother, wake up!"

Ric?

But the voice that called him was that of a female so clearly it couldn't be of his brother. The voice was clear and sharp when it pierced his ear. Suddenly he felt as if his body was being shaken by someone.

He gently turned his head towards the voice and found out that it didn't belong to his brother but someone else. The hands that were shaking him were like flowers and her face was of a teenage girl , clear and beautiful.

Oslo's eyes widened as he suddenly straightened his back. The girl that was calling him brother was someone he hadn't seen in his entire life and hearing her call him brother shocked him greatly. He then stood up just to be surprised even more as he found himself one head taller than he was before.

He looked at the girl beside him and pointed his index finger toward himself asking with a confused face.

"Brother? Me?"

The girl nodded and laughed gently which made her appear even more attractive than before.

"Brother, are you trying to play being an air head? If you are then stop it right now. Your duel against Robert is about to begin shortly. If you lose, Sera won't forgive you."

Hearing her cute voice, he couldn't help but sigh with emotion.

'What a weird dream!'

Wait! Dream?

The thought suddenly flashed in his mind making him think that it was a dream. Oslo frowned on the thought. If it was indeed a dream then was he in some dream land or somewhere like that? His mind was filled with questions without any answers to calm it.

Moreover, it felt too realistic to even say that it was a dream. Oslo held his chin and again a thought popped inside his head.

'Did I exchange body with this dude when I lost consciousness?'

The more he thought about it, the more it seemed true. It was too realistic to be a dream and he also knew that he was inside a dream, so how could that be...so, he ruled out the possibility of him being in a dream.

If he had indeed exchanged body to someone else than he was curious to know that who was the bastard that got the lucky chance. He looked deeply into the girls eyes for the hope of seeing his face but all he saw was a blur.

What? He was confused. He then turned and searched for mirror in the big room. Finally, his legs stopped at the corner of the room standing before a big mirror. But this time, not only his face but, his whole body was a blur.

Just what was happening? Why couldn't he see his own figure? He then glanced at the girl and asked in a hurry,

"W-what's my name?"

"Stop joking already! Your name is **********" The girl's face showed a glint of disappointment, "If you are trying to find an excuse then just say so. You don't have to act like you don't even know yourself."

"Getting cold feet after openly accepting Robert's challenge in front of everyone. Seriously, Sera is disappointed." She added as she pouted.

F**k!

His mind was going blank as he heard her say that. His fingers were itching to scratch his head but he couldn't just do it in front of her.

Not only his face that was blur but if he tried listening to his name it would censor itself. He was in the brink of going mad. Just what the heck was even going on? I at least need to know that identity of the party with whom I'm exchanging consciousness.

The only thing he knew about the person was that he had openly accepted the duel from the guy named Robert and that was the only piece of information he had acquired thus far.

He was frowning about the matters when he got dragged by some maids to the arena.

When he got in the stage, he saw many people there in the audience's seat just to watch the battle between the two. He hadn't even changed his clothes and was wearing some cloth which was very uniquely tailored, standing straight in the arena.

In the central top of the arena, which was a bit far from audience's seat, there were three people sitting as they chatted over a cup of tea. Two of them were old man and one was a middle-aged man. The aura they gave off was very domineering and Oslo could sense even from afar that they were in the league of their own and shouldn't be trifled with. But suddenly a word popped in his mind when he look at the people sitting there.

Elders!

But he didn't know why he had thought of it.

'Are they in level with copper rank adventurers?'

Inside his mind though he immediately shook his head vigorously, dismissing his own idea. They were too domineering and to compare them with copper rank adventurers was nothing but a fat joke. He sighed at looked in front of him.

He was enchanted by the prowess those elders possessed and also secretly wished that one day he would be strong just like them...no even stronger.

From the back of the stage came a boy of his age, slowly walking as if taking a stroll in the park. He was black and gave off the feeling of a stout man. The boy was Robert and his body was also in good shape. He was the definition of black beauty...or was it black handsome... sigh let it be.

"Today is the day of your death!" Robert snorted.

"We'll see!" His body automatically said as if the voice was pre-recorded. He then gently stroked his hand and surprisingly his muscles were all well flexed.

Oslo was surprised as he couldn't even control the body right now. But his words made someone very angry, Robert immediately unsheathed his sword and pointed his sword towards Oslo.

"Quickly, unsheathe your sword!"

His head again shook gently, "There is no need for me to use my sword to kick a loser like you."

"What? You're being arrogant?" Robert shouted as he slashed his sword at Oslo.

"Weak!" Oslo's mouth said as he dodged it like no big deal as his greeted Robert's cheeks.

Thud- Dong-

Seeing at Robert whose face now had a hand mark on it, Oslo said,

"Sorry, that was a slap. I had told you that I would kick you!"

Swish-

Robert's chest was suddenly kicked by Oslo, and as he rolled, he coughed a mouthful of blood.

"You..." Robert fiercely looked at Oslo who had a grin formed in his face. He then pointed his sword at Oslo and said,

"I thought I'll play with you for a while but seeing that smug face of yours made me mad. I'll kill you right now!"

Buzz- Buzz-

The sword suddenly shook voilently making noises. Lightning had covered it making it flash time and again. Robert's forehead had a blue vein bulging like an earthworm and as he used tremendous force, his feet sank deep in the stage making footprints visible and cracking the stage.

With a leap, Robert mercilessly slashed the sword fused with all his Mana at Oslo.

Oslo's face remained solemn without any change. But his mind was a bit different...

Ahhhh! Don't kill me! I didn't do it, I didn't say it. The body was doing it by itself. It isn't my fault.

In normal condition he wouldn't have said it but he could feel that the prowess this Robert dude possessed was no less than a Copper rank adventurer, so he couldn't help but mutter it again and again.

But much too his surprise, the body moved again. Without any expression, it gently waved it's hand cutting through the sword like a tofu and viciously injuring Robert's chest. It was again as if a move that had been recorded before.

Robert was speechless less as his best move couldn't even ruffle his opponent's hair. The hand that had just brushed past him was a blur even to him and he couldn't even fathom how powerful his opponent really was.

pang-

Both him and his broken sword kissed the ground at the same time. The body spoke again in a single word,

"Pathetic!"

The outcome of the battle was decided in a flash so many audiences didn't realize for a moment and only after the body spoke it's words, did they came to know that the battle was over and Robert had lost pathetically.

The crowd immediately became wild as they started cheering for Oslo. Actually Oslo felt that he was being cheered as he was in the body but he didn't quite like it. It was his first time being cheered by so many audiences but all he heard was **********.

Damn Censor!

Robert was still in a daze as his body rested in the ground. He couldn't believe in the outcome.

It must be a mistake! It must be... otherwise, how can I lose to a retard like him. It must be a bad dream.

But it was the reality and he was too afraid to face it because before this battle he had never lost to someone this tragically. He didn't believe it.

The body again moved and stood before the helpless Robert. It then rose it's hand as if to land the blow to finish what it had started but just when it was about to swipe it down, the body immediately fell in the ground.

With his angry eyes Oslo glared at the person who had stopped his movement in the last second but it only made him feel even more pressure. It was as if his body was holding a mountain on his back.

"I get it that you're strong but..." One of the elder who was wearing clothes designed uniquely all the same stood up and said in a clod voice as his eyes went cold, "Killing is forbidden in the arena no matter who you are. Just the thought of it will get you punished."

"I'll let you off with just a simple punishment but next time, I won't let it rest easy."

As he said that, the pressure pinning down Oslo increased by five times and he couldn't even move a muscle, not even roll his eyes. It was as if he was being squashed to a pulp. No matter how much he tried, it was same. Slowly, he blacked out.

When he opened his eyes again though, he found himself in his house again with his face in the ground as if nothing had happened.

It was really a dream? But... it felt too realistic! Just what the heck was that dream?

"What a weird dream!" Oslo mutter while frowning.

Just as he was thinking more and more sitting with his legs crossed in the ground, he felt that the coolness that his body was feeling vanish completely. After which an articulate female voice greeted him.

[Body Merging Complete.]

The voice didn't came from his surrounding so he could guess that it was playing in his mind.

Was this the voice of God people used to talk about?

Again the voice played in his mind.
