Ai Lin was in a daze. Although the video had stopped playing for a while, she still couldn't regain her composure. She was stupefied to the point she was unable to utter even a single word. She never expected that would be the proposal Mu Zihan mentioned before. However, she was truly moved by Mu Zihan's sincere words and tears.
At that time they were totally a stranger towards each other but he shed his tears for her like she was a precious person in his life. Moreover, the looks in his eyes would never lie. He truly meant what he said.
" Ai Lin…" Mu Zihan called hesitantly. He prepared himself to be hit by her and shifted his chair a bit to create enough distance for him to run away just in case Ai Lin went rampage.
Ai Lin turned her head and stared at the scaredy cat Mu Zihan with a blank look. She had no idea how to react to this situation as she still needed time to digest all the things said in the video.
" Are you alright? Remember you already promised to fulfil all the promises you made in the video so you can't go back on your words now." Although he was terribly frightened right now but Mu Zihan forced himself to speak his mind. He was scared if Ai Lin said the proposal was invalid and decided to leave his side. He couldn't even dare to imagine that.
" Mu Zihan, you're joking with me right?" Ai Lin asked in monotonous tone. Her face was void of expression.
" Haa..? No, I'm not! All the things I said in that video are true. I will never joke around about my feelings. I even planned how to propose y…"
" Propose? Was that what you call a proposal?" Ai Lin eyes' turned sharp and cold. Her body let out a murderous aura as she glared at the scamming man next to her.
Mu ZIhan shivered at the sudden drop of the temperature. Was this what his subordinates felt all this time?
" Y… Yes…?"
" Mu Zihan, you really ask for a good beating don't you? Do you even know what a marriage proposal is? It is a very important and meaningful event for women and yet… That was how you proposed to me? With no ring? No flower? No romantic candle light dinner? Are you kidding me?" Ai Lin couldn't help but berated him. She really had the urge to choke him right now. Even though she was not really the type of woman who preferred all that, but at least couldn't he be more romantic at time like that? Not to mention that, she was still in comatose state at that time! How dared he made his own assumption and decided for her for this important event. He really had the guts, didn't he?
Mu Zihan blinked his eyes with a wrongful look clearly portrayed on his handsome face. Was he wrong? Was that not how the proposal worked? But his subordinates said to propose a woman, he just needed to ask her to marry him. And he did it just as he was told. Was it wrong?
Looking at his wrongful expression, Ai Lin could feel her eyes were shooting daggers at him now. Thus, with gritted teeth she spoke. " Mu Zihan, you better don't move. I'm really gonna kill you today!"
And with that warning, Ai Lin pinched his cheeks with all her strength. She pinched and squeezed his soft and flawless cheeks, imagining it was his life in her hands.
" Ouchh. It hurts! It hurts! I'm sorry I was wrong, I won't do it again. Ouch! Ouch!"
Meanwhile, outside of the study room Butler Na was stood frozenly. His hand which wanted to knock the door stopped in mid air. He was shocked at what he heard. Although the study room was built with soundproof materials but he could still hear his master faint bellow, begging for life. Just imagine how loud he yelled.
Even though he had witnessed his master was blackmailed to be killed and punished earlier, but this was the first time he heard his master begging for life. Was this really happened or just a dream? Butler Na shook his head vigorously to clear his mind. He pondered for a long time whether to knock the door or not?
Finally after a long pondering, he knocked the door with an intention to help his master from being killed by his fiancée. And it was proven his act really did help later.
The bellowing inside stopped after the knock. Mu Zihan answered him with a quivering voice. " Come in."
And once again Butler Na was astonished at the sight of Mu Zihan's red face and messy hair. Was his assumption was wrong? Did he just disturbed their love making session? If that was true, Miss Tang was really powerful to make his master screaming like that.
On the other hand, Mu Zihan internally was grateful for Butler Na on time appearance. He couldn't imagine what would happen to his cheeks if Ai Lin continued with her punishment. Even now he could feel his cheeks were swelling.
" S.. Should I go out?" Butler Na asked hesitantly. He sneaked a peek at both Ai Lin and Mu Zihan before making another assumption. It seemed they were really in a middle of love making. Both their face were red as tomato and their clothes were just in a mess as Mu Zihan's messy hair. Suddenly, his ears felt warm and turned red, imagining things he shouldn't do.
Mu Zihan cleared his throat before saying no. How could he let his saviour went out leaving him alone here?
" Is there any matter?" Mu Zihan asked, faking a calm look. At times, he would glance at Ai Lin who was trying hard to surpress her rage.
" Secretary Lu has arrived and he asked to meet you."
" Oh, you can ask him to come in."
" Yes, master." After getting a permission from Mu Zihan, Butler Na quickly turned around and started moving out.
" Wait! Where are you going?" Mu Zihan quickly stopped him. How could he leave him alone here?
" Haaa? I'm going to invite Secretary Lu in." Butler Na was perplexed and confused.
" There's no need for that. You can just call him and ask him to come here. You can left after he comes in."
