"Charlie, we're in..."
Henders turned her earpiece on as she and Hannie now find themselves inside the Warehouse via a reliable hidden entrance of the sewers which connects from the outside, more specifically by a manhole just right behind them.
Luckily, it seems that the criminals who are taking part in the illegal drug operation do not even know of such critical information regarding the entrances since there was not even a single armed man stationed in guarding the sewers.
Due to that factor, the two female police were able to infiltrate the warehouse without any consequences so far much to their vast relief.
But even so, the pair of women law enforcers know better than to let their guard down in dangerous situations that they are now into. Even more so as they are finally on to the second stage of the plan at being inside the warehouse filled with armed men ready to take their lives should the two make their presence known throughout the whole group of criminal syndicates.
The earpiece immediately sounded in response, the man on the other line, Charlie came to answer the Captain's call. "Copy that Captain. Brandon and I are also currently on standby and have managed to reduce the patrol's number outside to a significant number, hiding their bodies in the bushes and as plan still goes, the other guards still do not suspect that we are within their ranks."
What Charlie said brought an easy feeling to the Police Captain since she would have less undesirable factors for them to worry about.
A few moments ago while Henders and Hannie were trekking inside the narrow long path deep inside the bowels of the sewers, the duo of policemen, both Charlie and Brandon are a force to be reckon within the police force, whether it is in the art of going out loud and shooting everything from left and right like a no brainer in First Person shooter video games or being gracefully stealthy as they maneuver deep within the enemy lines and break their formation before they could even realize the havoc that was committed, signifying the enemy's inevitable downfall.
And with both of them working together in the equation, a police operation's efficiency would just more likely double as they operate as a single entity with almost zero flaws in terms of open combat and stealth.
As expected for the two Brothers in all but blood.
Thus, the bodies of the enemy that they secretly lay waste are being seen behind, hiding amidst the bushes as their adversaries shall never realize the deaths that have transpired tonight.
"I knew I could count on you both." Henders smiled impressively and nodded in great satisfaction at the remarkable actions that those two have always been performing.
Hannie, who is beside the blonde police officer assumed a look of curiosity despite having the ability to come up with multiple ways in dealing with their predicament and should act like the inexperienced recruit that she is. "Hey ma'am, so what's our next course of action? Being inside here sure is very thrilling since one fatal act of mistake could very well lead to our deaths hehe."
Henders turned her attention to her pink-haired subordinate, understanding the statement that the young Sergeant is telling to her. "Yes and that's why we should be on our constant guard starting from this very moment. Now, out next task is to observe the drug trade that is going to transpire here inside."
Eyes all over their surroundings, numerous crates were seen in every direction, like a maze that they must cross before reaching their destination.
"Hmm, yes." Henders nodded to herself, finding the crates to be very advantageous seeing that there are more places to hide and if they encounter patrols walking around inside, then they could easily take them out and hide the bodies without alerting the other men.
Hannie understood what the Captain was thinking as the former simply remained quiet and nodded alongside her to let Henders know that she understand the implications behind these crates.
The pair then commenced moving around, their demeanor in full alert as they observe their every surroundings in a meticulous manner, particularly on the lookout for guards inside.
Then they immediately halt their tracks as they found two guards patrolling just right in front of them.
Henders began to make hand signals to Hannie, signaling for them to take the guards out when the timing is right.
But there are times that you have to create that timing for yourself or else the opportunity will not show itself. That and time is not exactly their ally as they still have a drug operation to disrupt.
Pulling out one of the oldest tricks in the book, Henders made a slightly loud tap at the crate that they are hiding, enough to attract both of the men's attention at piquing their curiosity on the moving box.
Thinking that it's some sort of animal inside, the men approached the crate to investigate but as soon as they reached a half meter away.
Before they can even react, a blade was sunk deep in their necks respectively, courtesy of the female duo as they also covered the men's mouth to prevent any pain-filled screaming from alerting the whole occupants of the warehouse in deep wary.
Concealing the bodies, the both of them continued to press on, navigating the interiors of the Warehouse as they blend in the shadows with stealth and subterfuge.
And in a short while, they finally saw a peculiar gathering of same many armed individuals that is currently on the go in the middle of the warehouse. The both of them then assumed their hiding spots behind a rectangular cargo container.
As they peeped to see the happenings, they were greeted by the sight of two syndicate groups conducting an illegal drug trade as they have expected.
"Charlie, do you read me?" Henders activated her earpiece to communicate the outside team.
"Loud and clear ma'am." Charlie answered in an instant.
"The recruit and I are currently here witnessing the very drug operation in our very eyes." Henders said as she started to describe in every detail of the happenings as much as she could. "There seemed to be two groups conducting the trade. One is led by a man with plain brown hair dressed in a standard military bulletproof vest and camouflage pants as he is accompanied by men of the same uniform. The other group though…"
Henders' attention then turned to the other group that is quite an anomaly if she has to put some description into it though. As such, she could not help but be alarmed at the rather… colorful group of criminals that she is eyeing right at this very moment.
And her surprise skyrocketed as her sights pinpointed at a familiar known criminal figure right in her very eyes.
"So, the Black Wyvern, Kayle Faragus is also accompanying them." Henders frowns as she saw the infamous Mercenary within the enemy ranks.
"Seriously?!" Charlie from the other line stated with shock, his tone quivering a little bit at the infamy of the Mercenary known for many heinous criminal acts. "Then you should be extra careful there ma'am. With the Black Wyvern in the equation, things will be pretty hectic if you girls screw it up."
Hannie, being familiar with the Agent undercover mentally sighed in relief at seeing the man. But his very presence though is something that is definitely of concern.
'So Dragon is also here huh.' Hannie thought in curiosity. 'Him being here could only mean that this very operation itself warrants some serious investigation and trouble. Damn it, I hate to say this but I'm not even sure that even with the likes of Henders and the squad would be surviving this one, well at least not unscathed… hopefully.'
Oblivious to her subordinate's worrying thoughts, Henders continued to eye and narrate the very situation to Charlie. "Aside from Faragus, he is also accompanied by a violet-haired woman who seems to be the leader of their group and also a masked red-haired girl holding a red parasol."
At the mention of the other two who are with the Black Wyvern, Hannie also eyed at them, gazing their every physical feature like a scanner in a photocopy machine.
'So that woman is the leader.' Hannie frowns. 'It may seem that this chick is an unknown factor and my gut tells me that she is indeed trouble. On the other hand, that young girl with a cute cat mask seemed pretty familiar, with the red hair and all that.'
Then her thoughts were drawn as she remembered the events of the mall incident, where Rin, the princess, and she have met a certain cute red-haired Assassin who had help them against the Mad Jester and now deceased, Reginald Cruz.
'Of course!!' Hannie widen her eyes in realization. 'Even with the mask, she is no other than one of the Death sisters. Heck, red hair, red clothes, and red everything gave it away. The only reason why Henders seemed to be not realizing her is because they are not exactly renown outside the Underworld and are only rumors and speculations. It's indeed smart of her to now don a mask after the fiasco she has done in the mall.'
'But wait…' Hannie was again in her thoughts as the pink head could not help but wonder, a grim feeling foretelling something dire is going to take place. 'The Death Sisters always work in twos as per the Brotherhood reports. Never have they ever separated in every encounter and operations that both of them are involved in. So why is it that only one of them is there? Unless…'
Her eyes then struck in utmost terror, the prospect of the missing sister that just might be right in their very midst.
And then something solid and sharp respectively pointed right in the two female polices' respective heads much to their utter looks of surprise and then… fear, their spine chilling to the very core.
Turning petrified on the very spot, the two could do nothing as even a single mishap of a movement could very well spell their end right here and then…
"What do we have here?"
With a handgun and a katana pointing separately right in the back of their faces, Mors Crimstar eyed the two with a blood-curdling look that could very well turn Hell upside-down.
