Chapter 135 - CHAPTER 134 TWIN COMMANDERS ll

'I cannot deny that with him as my ally, I can at least only worry about the powerhouses from the centaur side.' Shadow thought.

He is no longer worried about his soldier's safety; with Lou Yan, Glutton, and the rest, he is confident that his soldiers only need to fight their fellow soldiers.

Actually, other than the Goblin King, Harpy Queen, and Queen Marleigh, the other rulers are all combat-oriented lords; they fight personally and do not only command their soldiers in the backline.

Unfortunately, it seems that only the Golden Ape King trains in any type of martial art technique. With such an advantage, Shadow is not surprised that he managed to claim the title of'strongest' in their entire alliance.

He is a lot weaker compared to the two of them, but unlike his soldiers and officers, he is not that helpless against the centaur.

Back on the battlefield, King Blarden and the black centaur have now started fighting. The latter is good at attacking vital points; not only that, he fights like an assassin, but his close combat skill is not lacking at all.

King Blarden is actually better than him in terms of pure combat skill, but the black energy that the spear is emitting seems to be the natural nemesis of the Golden Ape Race.

The metal Qi that is made by the metal energy within the Golden Apes bodies and their own vitality causes them to be almost unbeatable against those at the same level and bloodline tier.

Because of this, the way they fight is incredibly dangerous; they do not care about their own safety, confident that their bodies are able to endure any type of attack, and with their passive ability (regeneration), they are basically tanks that are capable of moving smoothly with inhumane precision and agility.

But right now, King Blarden is at a disadvantage; not only is his regeneration suppressed by the unknown energy, but his metal body and metal qi are useless against the assault of the spear. It pierced through with ease, and there seems to be no hint of resistance against it.

Also, he senses that his energy is being drained with each successful hit; even with Great Vigour, he is getting exhausted rapidly.

BOOM! With a great explosion, the two of them separate; both are startled by such a sudden attack. Shadow appears between them; he turns to King Blarden and asks, "Wanna switch opponents?"

King Blarden wants to refuse, but thinking that he will be forced to use his Trump card if his current situation continues, he can only inwardly sigh and agree.

"Where do you think you are going, you vile beast?" Roars the black centaur, who then charges towards King Blarden, confident that his brother will stop Shadow.

[Copy: Clwyd (Fiend Toxic Breath)]

Sensing the strange energy from this attack, the black centaur stops and swings his spear, dispersing the breath attack.

King Blarden quickly turns to the white centaur, ready to intercept his attack, but his eyes widen as his new target is forcefully stopped by Chill, Thunder, Terra, Clwyd, and Blast.

They know that the white centaur will not let their master go, and at the same time, Shadow makes a move against the black centaur. All of them went to intercept the white centaur.

King Blarden charges in their direction; he shouts, "Leave this bed to me! Help the soldiers defend this kingdom!"

Clwyd looks at him in anger. "You are not the boss of me! Stop giving me orders!"

Blast shakes his head; he then grabs his friend's shoulder and points in a specific direction. "This is not a fight, but do not worry; we already have a target."

Thunder and Chill look in the direction where he is pointing, and the two of them can agree that the centaurs are truly a powerful race that has existed in this realm for thousands of years. The centaur that the two apes are targeting might not be as powerful as the twin commanders, but the difference between them is also not that big.

"Thunder, should we help the Falcon King? It seems that he is having trouble fighting against one of the centaur generals?" asks Chill. Thunder quickly agrees.

"What about me guys? What should I do?" Terra felt abandoned; he was frowning with great displeasure. He hates being left alone, as he does not know what to do by himself.

"You should monitor the battlefield and direct the golems to where the strategist suggests; also, protect big brother Glutton while he is healing; we still need his help to defeat our current target; even if both Clwyd and I are going to fight against him, my instinct is telling me that we have a low probability of winning," Blast states as he sees his comrade sulking like a child.

Meanwhile, King Blarden and the white centaur are getting farther away from the battlefield, and the former is trying hard to catch up with his opponent.
